This is what makes a car rental place stand out - their staff and the excellent service they provide. Needed a rental car for our LA/Disneyland trip. I booked through booking.com and got a good deal for 3 days. Upon arrival to SNA airport, Instructions were to call Green Motion (part of U Save) for shuttle pickup. Pickup area is at arrivals near banner 6. Dorothy picked us up and was very sweet! She gave recommendations and was very helpful on the 3 min ride across the street to Atrium hotel where Green Motion/U Save was located. She said the best gas station to fill up was at the nearby ARCO so it wasn't as expensive as the one next to the hotel. Checking in with Amir was very smooth and he gave us 10% off McDonald's coupons at the one near Disneyland. No issues with the Dodge Caravan. Checking out was also very smooth and they let us leave our luggage in the front desk area while we ate lunch around the area. When we got dropped off, I accidentally left my phone in the shuttle and after calling Green Motion back, Amir actually came back to give it to me! Wow I was SO grateful to him for that. He's also super nice and helpful. Thank you Green Motion/U Save (& Amir and Dorothy) for making our can rental experience convenient and easy!

When I picked up the car...it was NOT Chrus but another man. He had an attitude and was very rude. His attitude was horrible. I had to ask the Lord to make him stop because I was about to go off on this guy. He handed me the keys and said the car was all the way at the end of the strip center behind a gas station..no other help or information. They DO NOT bring the cars to the front if the building...they are so lazy and unprofessional. CONDITION OF THE CAR It was dirty...the inside of the windshield has not been cleaned for so long...the car kept saying the oil needed to be changed...clearly it is not being maintained. There was NO WASHER FLUID AT ALL. Now...they put a 250.00 hold on my debit card. I returned the car Sunday at 830 a.m. by Tuesday afternoon...they still did not check the car in. I called and asked them to close the car out and stop holding my money hostage. He acted like I should have allowed this since he let me drop it off there. It is not my fault they are open only . Few hours. It does not give a person the right to hold my money hostage for 3 days. I prayed against this location. Horrible horrible customer service. The car that went in was dirty in need of a desperate car wash and they informed me they washed it for me. The rims were immaculate and my car looked brand new! I arrived shortly before closing, feeling stressed and overwhelmed, but Ben was incredibly kind and accommodating from the start. I rented the car from Sunday, 4/19 through Saturday, 4/25. Throughout the entire process, Ben was honest, transparent, and genuinely helpful. He truly went above and beyond and was a lifesaver during a difficult week. When I returned the car with my daughter and planned to Uber home, Ben kindly offered to drive us instead. My daughter had recently fractured her foot and was limited in mobility, so his kindness meant even more. He has a very humble, fatherly presence and made a stressful situation much easier. At return, the tank needed about 1/8 more fuel, and I was charged $15. I understand there may be a refueling charge, but as a longtime customer, I was disappointed that they wouldn't give me any consideration. It left an unfortunate impression at the end of an otherwise great experience.
