I didn't know how to begin when I got started and Dave was great. They helped with my ADU permit and did a great job.

Wendy and Elizabeth were so helpful in getting me into my new place (YAAAAY!)…read more They get two thumbs up and a shower of gold stars for their awesome customer service. Definitely took so much stress off of my apartment hunt. I was researching places to stay in the Long Beach area to be near my kid's school. Initially, I visited another property management office...but needless to say, they weren't very customer-service oriented! They gave me keys to go look at a place on the other side of town, I go look at it...like it...and make the 20 minute drive back to their office and as I'm about to fill out the application...the receptionist tells me it was rented that morning. REALLY, why the heck did you give me the keys to go look at it then?????? Uggggh. Plus she didn't even offer me a listing of other comparable places, she told me I can look at their site online for their current ads. **PS** The place that was supposedly rented is still listed a week later. smdh. On the other hand, Palazzo was such a breeze to work with. Check out keys to look at the place you're interested in, fill out your application, they verify your information, 2-3 days they tell you whether you were approved or not. If approved they give you the details on what you need as far as deposit/hold fees & rent due dates. Not once did I feel like they were just a rental mill, where they take applicant's application fees and not process the paperwork. They were both professional and extremely friendly. I sprained my knee and use crutches (and it is like a never-healing injury) and Wendy opened the door for me both times I left the office. Was super impressed by that! So glad I found them, and so happy to move into my new place next month :)

Used this company because a friend referred us to them. Despite the low rating on Yelp, we decided…read moreto give it a go. My biggest regret is allowing Palazzo to manage our property. Communication is slow--expect a response in 3-4 business days, and that's if you decide to blow up all their phones, which is not acceptable when your home is vacant, you're trying to prepare it for new prospective tenants, and they should be the ones supplying the vendors to come out and clean. Speaking of vendors, their cleaning company did an ATROCIOUS job of "professionally cleaning" our home and when Wendy did the final walkthrough with us and noticed how disgusting the home still looked she chalked it up to the fact that "they don't charge that much." That is no excuse whatsoever to charge $300 for a terrible job because like Eppie put it "[her] seven-year-old daughter could've done a better job." While they offered to ask their person Lazaro to come back and clean the place again for free, they didn't care to follow up with him or me, so my mother had to go and clean the mess the tenants left behind. Once we realized their communication delays were extremely significant, we decide to contract our own vendors because we couldn't trust them to do so even though they were charging us $225 monthly....for what? I'm not really even sure because our last month with them once the tenants moved out was brutal with their incompetence. They simply took note of things that needed to get done and took 4 days to get back to us on anything, hence the reason we had to pick out our own vendors. One piece of advice to anybody who wants to hire them or has already hired them: once you realize what a huge mistake you made, be sure to email them 30 days from the date you plan to fire them or they'll let you know two days before the new month that you had to give your notice via email, charge the $225, and not do a SINGLE thing for you that entire month they charged. So incredibly thankful we no longer have to deal with them. This was a huge mistake and I take full responsibility for not trusting the reviews on here.

The minute we met Gia at an open house, we instantly knew we wanted her to represent us. There was just something about her warmth, kindness, and genuine personality that immediately made us feel comfortable and cared for. She was welcoming, informative, down to earth, and truly seemed to care about helping us find the right home for our family. Throughout the entire process, Gia was always there for us. She answered every question we had, kept us informed every step of the way, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel so much easier. She was incredibly communicative, patient, and supportive, and you could tell she genuinely wanted the best for us. She is extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and you can tell she truly knows all the ins and outs of real estate. That gave us so much trust and confidence in her throughout the entire process. Her knowledge of the Long Beach area was amazing, and honestly, we don't think we would have gotten the house we have without her guidance, dedication, and expertise. When we received the keys to our home, Gia also met our family, and they all absolutely loved her. She was so kind, welcoming, and genuine with every single one of us, which just meant so much during such a special moment for our family. We are beyond grateful that we chose Gia to represent us. Not only did we gain an incredible realtor, but someone we truly hope will be a lifelong friend. We absolutely love her and cannot recommend her enough. If you are looking for a real estate agent, do not hesitate to choose Gia!

Carly's true dedication, responsiveness, and enthusiasm to educate on best practices for successful…read morehome buying was so essential to closing on a dream home. With the way the market was (high interest rates, quick and competitive buyers creating a sellers advantage, and low inventory) as first home buyers, the odds were totally stacked against us. Carly took care of us when we were at risk of purchasing a condo with a non communicative HOA. They basically needed to fund structural repairs but had no game plan. Because of this, the bank wouldn't lend. Carly was fully supportive when I was devastated at the news. I totally loved the place and visited it often. After that, I became discouraged about home buying. 2 months later, after encouragement and hard work, we closed on a better floor plan with all the amenities we needed and then some. Not to mention the HOA communicates and the monthly dues are less ;). If you get a chance to work with Carly, you will be in really great hands. She is exceptional and makes this daunting task a lot of fun!

Don't waste your time looking for another realtor...start with Beatrix and the Whipple Group first. Some highlights of how they do business... 1. Pictures and marketing done within 5 days of interviewing them. 2. Photos were perfect and I was impressed with the virtual tour they did for the internet. 3. Very tech savvy. The Whipple Group understands the importance of digital marketing. They drove traffic even in a down market. 4. Reputation, reputation. Everyone knew Beatrix and had only positive feedback regarding her work. 5. Work ethic. The Whipple Group understands deadlines and works hard to meet them. 6. Value! The Whipple Group not only surpassed my expectations, but they provided a far superior service than that of other realtors for the same commission. I spent 20 years working as a sales consultant for some of the largest corporations on the Fortune 100. I have completed deals that resulted in revenues well into the 9 figures. So, when I say that I respect Beatrix, I do so with knowledge of what a successful sales person looks like. Lastly, I'm hard to work for, but Beatrix was a star the entire time.

It's a relief there's been a change in leadership. Since the new management came in, my experience has been noticeably better. The team I dealt with was responsive, straightforward, and actually kept me in the loop, which hadn't always been the case before. It's not perfect yet, but there's a clear shift in how they're operating and treating people. If they keep this up, I can see their reputation improving over time. It finally feels like things are headed in the right direction.

I am a current tenant at 5199 E Pacific Coast Hwy and have been in this building since last…read moreNovember. I do not recommend leasing from this company as there have been a myriad of problems that the owners refuse to address in any timely fashion. At the top of the list of problems: I have had a leaking pipe in my ceiling for OVER six weeks. The leak has caused damage to the furniture underneath, and I have been unable to conduct business in this space (I am a therapist and see clients in person). For over 6 weeks now and likely to be going on much longer, there has been NO repair on the pipes. After, continuously following up on my end, at week 5 of the leak, the building management communicated to me that a plumber examined the broken pipes and also discovered this may be a much larger issue in the building than just in my office. However, there has been NO urgency to actually begin any repair on the pipes so I continue to be unable to operate in my office. With the leak discovery, my suite mates and I have seen cockroaches on 3 occasions (they love moisture) and have also reported this to the building with zero response for remediation. The owner of Alamitos Associates, Matthew Luxenberg, appears to care very little about his tenants businesses and upkeep of his buildings which pose a risk to the health of all -- the risk of mold and pests is high with active leaks. He appears to have no financial incentive or motivation to address tenant issues -- a simple Google search reveals all the business under his names (multiple commercial properties, a Florida based luxury yacht rental, Coastal Dermatology and Plastic Surgery, Medi-lien). Apparently, addressing broken pipes in a run-down building is low on the priority list. The pros of this building: The actual building management -- the lease officer and property manger are doing the best they can. The one maintenance person on staff is also wonderful and attentive. I don't blame them for the owners' lack of concern.

She was knowledgeable, responsive, patient, and always willing to explain what was happening at every step.
