This station is not equipped with any ramps or elevators for the handicap, the elderly or the commuters with bicycles is just unacceptable in this day & age. Even the stairs are quite old, rusty & narrow. Recently I experienced that on the outbound side there is no shelter from the elements except for a bridge. I just expect more from modern public transportation & standing here makes me feel like I traveled back into time. At least there are good local business, a library, a cozy common & a local commuter shuttle nearby. There are promises of improvements but they can not come fast enough. More people would use these facilities if they could just access them.

The metal staircases leading down to the tracks are very rusted out with huge holes here and there; Please be very vigilant about this as the stairs are very steep as well. At street level, there is a cab stand and local bus stop that accepts the Charlie Card (MWRTA.) Natick Cab station is about a 3 minute walk to the north (right next door to Pizza Plus,) and to the south is the downtown area with many amenities. Huge drawbacks are that there is very little to no car/bicycle parking and no handicap entry. There is much better (paid) parking at West Natick and the platform is at street level with ramps.

Parking is still the same at $4.00 so now when I forget to pay it will be a $25 ticket instead of a $5.00 ticket. Ouch. You also must pay within 20 mins and put in the "correct" parking number. I have to say I don't pay right away since I am not always sure the train is going to come so I wait and pay after I've boarded via my phone on the app. The app is much better and easier to use with its most recent updates. Public transportation - thumbs up for not having to drive into the city in traffic. Even with the $25.00 fee - if I forget, not that I plan on it since I have 2 reminder alarms, is still cheaper than paying parking in downtown Boston. Unless of course you find a cheap place and hoof it, NOT.
