This station is not equipped with any ramps or elevators for the handicap, the elderly or the commuters with bicycles is just unacceptable in this day & age. Even the stairs are quite old, rusty & narrow. Recently I experienced that on the outbound side there is no shelter from the elements except for a bridge. I just expect more from modern public transportation & standing here makes me feel like I traveled back into time. At least there are good local business, a library, a cozy common & a local commuter shuttle nearby. There are promises of improvements but they can not come fast enough. More people would use these facilities if they could just access them.

Natick Cab station is about a 3 minute walk to the north (right next door to Pizza Plus,) and to the south is the downtown area with many amenities. Huge drawbacks are that there is very little to no car/bicycle parking and no handicap entry. There is much better (paid) parking at West Natick and the platform is at street level with ramps.

MBTA Framingham line is OK ONLY if it runs on time which they often fail to do so. Although it has to go through morning suck-fest on Rt 9, the shuttle arrived on time 99%. And it's only $2 from Woodland of D train on Green Line to Wellesley and Beyond. If you were a reverse commuter like me, this service is it.

And weirdly, the driver told the crowd that this was the last chance to get back to Framingham that day, even though it was 4pm.

Natick Center is on the Framingham/Worcester Line, between Wellesley Square (inbound) and West Natick (outbound). It is about an hour from South Station to here. Even with the $25.00 fee - if I forget, not that I plan on it since I have 2 reminder alarms, is still cheaper than paying parking in downtown Boston. Easy to do on line - ticket comes in the mail. You can buy a ticket on the train. Free WiFi Bathrooms Cons: If you take the later train there are not many or NO parking spots left Late meaning close to 7:30-8 am Still need to pay on the weekend If you don't pay you they tack on an additional $1 There is a race out to rte 135 which can be hard to get onto. Two small over head canopy's don't cover all the people and are not very big Adults cut the lines too to try to get into the train before people - Annoying! As a mother of a child who has level 3 autism I would expect to have more support for my child on…read morethe van. They have a monitor who just sits there for the ride but does not assist the children on the bus. Transitions can be difficult and they will not wait more than 1 minute without being extremely ignorant or pulling off even as we are walking outside to the van. It takes longer than one minute to walk to the end of my driveway and if I sit outside with my kid she will have a complete meltdown. I would also like to add this is on her IEP. The driver and her assistant need to realize they are transporting CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND THEY ARE HERE TO ACCOMMODATE EACH CHILDS NEEDS NOT THEIR OWN!!!! I wish the transport system was more understanding and nurturing to children with special needs. That being said I am going to pull my daughter from JFK door to door van services and find a way to get her to and from school daily so she can be properly cared for.
