The menu is tight but emphasizes indulgent, tasty burgers, po'boys, and a variety of sandwiches and sides. The vibe is ideal for the warmer months, as it's primarily outdoors (with a covered patio on part of the eatery.) I've come twice now: first for a pop-up they did for Lunar New Year and again a few weeks later just to grab lunch. Parking is pretty easy to find on the street but be forewarned at peak lunch time on the weekends or for special pop-ups, whichthere can be a long line to order. I've had the burger and fries here and it's excellent but can't wait to come back and try the daily special po'boy or the collard green melt so many of my friends have raved about. They really understand the perfect mathematical ratio between sauciness, crispness of the breading, and overall flavor to just make really incredible sandwiches. Service is friendly and very fast. You order at a counter and then your food is brought to you. They have my favorite local seltzer, Maypop, or you could opt for a drink from their full bar. They host a lot of special pop-ups in collaboration with other chefs or just other cool people (Tyler Childers did a sandwich with them last summer.) When I came for their Lunar New Year pop-up with Chef Christine Lau, the line was around the block but they dealt with everyone efficiently, there were still plenty of tables for sitting, and the food (we ordered everything on the menu that day) was truly unreal delicious. Menu prices are pretty reasonable, about $14-15 for a sandwich and then sides would add up on top of that. Believe the hype for this spot - it's absolutely a worth it.
