A 5-minute phone appointment having provided a few pictures of my mole would have produced the same quality appointment. I went for a mole removal consult. Before the appointment, I was told options would be shave, complete excision, or reduction. While there, he was very awkward, stiff-lipped, and refused any information about potential type and extent of scarring or pigmentation after removal. He just said "I cannot guarantee anything." He looked up close at my mole for a grand total of maybe 3 seconds. After he sat back down and I tried to get more information from him, he asked me whether hair grows out of my mole. If he had properly looked at my mole, he would have already seen that hair grows out of it. He didn't mention reduction until after I asked, then he said it wouldn't look right, therefore he won't offer reduction. They force you to pay 1-2 weeks ahead of the appointment with threats of cancellation, by the way, and no refunds if you have to cancel; best you can do is reschedule. He is not worth a $300 consult. His total for shave removal is $1000. Choose someone with a soul and who will actually talk to you about possible outcomes and their procedural skill so that you can weigh your risks before deciding.

Dr. Sajjadian not only fixed the structural breathing problems that plagued me for over a decade, but made my nose look exactly how I described I wanted it to. During this procedure, he was also able to perform a few other aesthetic procedures for my lower face and neck, and all in all, the before/after transformation is truly remarkable. Aging (40) and weight loss caused my already limited upper eyelid space to totally disappear and for under eyes hollows to appear. Before finding him, I had been told by other providers that filler was the answer for the unevenness under my eyes. Unfortunately, it only made things worse. After consulting with Dr. Joseph, I finally understood that what I actually needed was a lower blepharoplasty--not filler. That surgery completely refreshed my appearance while still looking incredibly natural. Friends would tell me I looked well-rested, and I honestly felt like I looked 10 years younger. As I approached 43, I noticed my upper eyelids had begun resting on my lash line. My eyes constantly looked tired, and my makeup routine had gone from about 7 minutes to nearly 30 because I was trying so hard to make my eyes look more open and awake. I knew it was time to go back to Dr. Joseph for an upper blepharoplasty. Just like my first experience, everything was exceptional. His office is one of the most organized and caring medical practices I've ever worked with. The communication before, during, and after surgery was incredibly thorough, and they made me feel supported every step of the way. We straightened my nose out and sharpened the tip & raised the radix. I chose Dr. Kieu over other surgeons in LA, bay area, and Turkey / Korea as she listened to my goals and gave her recommendations based on my goals. It was a collaborative process spanning multiple discussion sessions on email, video chat, and in person to design a nose that suits me. I'm a very detail oriented person so I loved the opportunity to have these sessions with her professional guidance. My surgery was pretty involved spanning over 4 hours including septal work, turbinate work, valve repair, septal / rib cartilage harvestint n grafting and osteotomies. We went over all the details one more time in the OR and post surgery she checked in with me daily which eased my anxiety a lot. Nose is healing well - do have a lot of swelling since I'm asian, male, and its a revision (prior tip graft 2018). Dr. Kieu have me some steroid shots last week which helped my swelling go down a lot. The supratip fullness went down nicely with those shots.
