And have been going there for new glasses and repair for at least 20 years. Yesterday I went there to see if they could fix a pair of glasses with an expensive flexible frame that needed repair. The screws needed to be replaced. They were worn down so bad I didn't think they could be removed. It took a while but Clifford got them out and replace them. We then received a letter in the mail saying we owed our normal fee for the month coming up plus a 165 dollar late fee for "being late" the previous month. My husband immediately e-mailed them and even though he told them of our receipt from their very own company he was told two different times that it was because their system didnt register the payment on time. But it was THEIR system that sent us the e-mail which means logically you would make the conclusion that their system received the payment in order to send out a receipt, right?! I am beyond livid right now, we just have been through a lot financially and this is a set back that should never have happened and SHOULD BE FIXED.

I even had to call Glen Allen just to get pricing info because Mechanicsville couldn't provide it. Glen Allen was helpful, but I was told I'm stuck with Mechanicsville by the Mechanicsville staff for any follow up visit to finalize the prescription. Unorganized, misleading, and frustrating. I will never come back and do not recommend their virtual appointments.
