I came here mid-December after my glasses irreparably broke. I had tried going to my eye doctor, but they didn't have an frames I liked and their turn around time was over two weeks. Since I wear glasses 90% of the time, I needed glasses I really liked and that I could get ASAP. I thought I had found these at Eyemart Express when I located a pair of Guess glasses that closely resembled my prior pair. I purchased them and provided my prescription, and within an hour, I was on my way with my new glasses. Although I liked how they looked, something was definitely "off." Although my prescription had not changed, the glasses gave me headaches. I thought it was because their fit was a bit off and were pinching the cartilage behind my ears. After having them adjusted a couple times, it became apparent the problem was that the bridge of nose being too narrow. The great thing about Eyemart is their 30 day guarantee. So I went back and tried to find a different pair. I spent probably an hour and a half to two hours trying on nearly every pair of glasses in their store. Sarah was super helpful and tried to help me find glasses, with no success. Obviously, I'm too picky. But every pair that I liked were too narrow and the pairs that fit, I hated. I gave up and left. I ended up buying a pairing of frames elsewhere and returning to Eyemart to return the glasses. In order to process the return, you have to go to the same location you originally purchased at and the store manager must be present, FYI. I had no problems. The one thing that lost them a star for me was customer service. Don't get me wrong, everyone was very helpful and friendly... but I was in their store at least 6 times over the course of 4 weeks and despite the fact that I interacted with the same people every time, they never seemed to remember me and I would have to explain myself from the beginning every time. Regardless, there is something about getting a pair of glasses same-day for an affordable price. I wouldn't rule out coming back here when I need my next pair of glasses. read more

I brought frames here to get prescription lenses put into them. They did get the job done, but the customer service here was very bad. The woman was rude the entire time during the consultation and kept asking me questions as if I were stupid. She seemed angry just to be helping me. The gentleman who helped me when I picked up my glasses, however was much more polite. Needless to say, I will not be coming back here. read more

The staff was nice. Ended up paying over $400 for two pair of glasses. I didn't like the frames for my sunglasses a week after having them. They were nice enough to exchange them for another type. I bought the warranty on my regular glasses. Virturally impossible to reach anyone by phone. read more

Just save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else . Staff bellowed at me to sign in and I said I'm not here to see the dr, just want to purchase glasses. What is your turn around time? She wouldn't answer me and didn't attempt to hide her annoyance at being asked a question. I signed in with two kids in tow and waited over 30 minutes as they waited on people signed on after me as I stood there with a $1,000 dollar sale in my hand - just wanting to order some new glasses. Despite warnings from others, I went in yesterday and had a great experience. They by far had the best selection of stylish frames of any of the shops is been to, and a great selection of larger frames. Heidi was super friendly and helpful. The glasses were done within a couple of hours, and the scrips were correct. They fit great, and the price for two pair was very fair. No complaints here. I was the only customer for the most part, so no info here on how they handle things when they're stacked up. read more

I went to pick up my new progressives. As soon as I tried these on I knew there was something wrong...the entire field of view at a distance was blurry except in the very center. The salesperson argued that I needed to get accustomed to the distortion but there's a difference between distorted and blurred and she didn't seem to hear me or acknowledge the distinction. She went on to describe that the lenses would only work in the middle at that I would run into the same problem everywhere I shopped for lenses. I've researched her claim and concluded she is wrong. Most websites and customer reviews do agree that I should expect blurriness in the lower corners and extreme left and right. But the Eyemart lenses were blurry everywhere except the very middle. Maybe 5% of the field of view was sharp. The left lens was clearly worse, even though I have exactly the same prescription in both eyes, with no astigmatism. That the lenses weren't identical is additional evidence there was a problem. They were completely unusable and all I got were claims that I just needed to get used to it. Distortion -- YES -- but my issue wasn't distortion and I told her so. Blurry is blurry. Blurry everywhere is useless or maybe dangerous. I settled on single-vision lenses, and requested a refund of the difference, which she refused, on the basis the progressives were special order. Had I rejected good lenses she'd have a point, but these lenses were defective. read more

I have noticed this business many times and decided to visit after receiving an eye exam that necessitated new glasses. With prescription in hand I arrived mid afternoon ready to spend. When I entered there were 2 customers. One was being attended to, the other was browsing through the frames on the wall. The 2 employees completely ignored me. They ignored me upon entering, they ignored me when I went to the front desk, they ignored me as they walked right by me and they ignored me as I looked at frames. They ignored me as a harried mom with kid in tow burst in and marched to the desk demanding and receiving immediate service. Apparently I am The Invisible Woman. Don't try to call, I'm on the way to Hollywood. Rather than wasting the trip I wanted the full experience so I perused the bland frames playing my favorite game, I Have To Pick Something No Matter What. No rimless, no semi rimless, no cool colors, I stumped myself. Between the appalling anti -customer service and the uninspired, milquetoasty frames I feel I received the complete picture, even without my glasses on. This place sucks. A hello upon entering?
