I didn't necessarily see many different styles, but I was more in the mood for inexpensive, so Eyemart fit the bill. There appeared to be lots of regulars so that was nice. I went to go pay, and then, duh, thought to ask about insurance, discovering my glasses would be free with my plan. Well, ummm, maybe we could have started there? I thought it kind of odd that my optician didn't ask upfront if I had insurance...maybe that's a rarity these days? Or she didn't want to pry? I don't know...but I almost paid $100 when I didn't have to! Whew, glad I caught that one. I walked out with two frames, both ready within an hour. I may be returning though, because I'm not sure the lens perscription is right, but that's not Eyemart's fault...that's my optometrist's department.

These are not unusually thick glasses and only ground for distance and no bifocals or anything else. Somebody there does not know how to grind glasses to fit in the frames. This has happened so often that I had to go to another optical company and get a pair made b/c these things are falling out of the frames even while I was trying to drive at night, when I need them. If you depend on your glasses to be able to see, and use them reliably, I would not recommend going to this place!! The pair I bought at a differnet optical company have been fine.

I'm extremely frustrated and don't even want this glasses anymore as I could have ordered them anywhere else and have had them by now. The doctor here is great. This has nothing to do with the service he provides. They will dilate your eyes and tell you to go look at glasses. Makes sense but when you ask about prices they give you a look. Sorry I can't read a price after you guys just dilated my eyes. Realized they added extra stuff only due to the price being off. But again it's hard to read what they are doing because of your eyes being dilated. They told me it would be around 2 weeks for my glasses. It's now been over 3 weeks and will probably be at least 4 by the time I get them. Just as reference, my wife went to lenscrafters 5 days after me, got her first pair of glasses back, realized it was slightly off, had another appointment days later, and now has had her second pair for around a week now. My girl whole helped me, did not give much information... some misunderstanding when I get home & looked at the bills, like she told me: insurance was $3, never asked me to buy insurance for the 1st pairs of glasses... the most serious faces are the general manager & the middle age lady who checked the insurance. 10 years in USA, I could say, this is weird. I don't feel go to back at all. I'm not sure if because I'm Asian, I cannot speak English properly or what? I wish my doctor works at different location.
