It was busy since it was a few weeks before New Years, but we did have a chance to go inside the Sunglass Hut. It was my first time inside the store! It's near the eastern end of Downtown Disney, right next to the parks and Starbucks! In 2025, the store had a refurbishment and was closed for several months. Other sunglass hut kiosk pop ups were available though! The Sunglass Hut just recently reopened with refreshed branding and interior design. There is updated space feature LED lit walls showcasing the wide selection of sunglasses. Several team members came up to us and asked if we needed any help. Since it was my first time, I decided to look around first. There was a wide selection of sunglasses! Sunglass Hut has brands like Ray Ban, Oakley, Versace, Gucci, Prada, Costa, and more! I didn't realize Disney had their own themed styles as well! I ended up looking at some of the Disney sunglasses too! This is a convenient retail shop to stop by inside if you're spending the day at Disneyland or strolling through Downtown Disney. The team members are fantastic at this store and knowledgeable, assisting with fit, style, recommendation, protection plans, and repair services!

I purchased a pair of Oakley Meta sunglasses $499.00 I wasn't too sure that I would like them. The…read moresales person said, "no problem you have 30 days to return them". Also, she told me that for only $64.99 I could buy the protection plan and I could get a replacement, incase any thing happens to them, even lens scratches. OK, I was sold I had nothing to lose, or so I thought...! After 2 weeks, and only wearing them for about an hour, I decided to return them. Back at the stand, a different sales person that day asked me if I was aware of their return policy....? Anyway she looked at the unit and said one of the lenses was scratched. After I cleaned them, there were no scratches that I could see. Not wanting to argue, I told her I would use the purchase protection plan, get a new pair and return the new one, but apparently there is a copay, and you don't get a free replacement at all. It would cost me nearly 1/2 the original price for a scratch that I couldn't even see. Also the return is only for the original pair. I know what you're thinking; sucks to be you dude... Bottom line, ask more questions and get these sales people on video recording their sales pitches. Better yet just stay away...

Fast forward like 3 years later one of my twins (not naming which one) likely took my glasses and either threw them away or put them with the rest of our lost buried treasures of things that go missing. I was forced to wear my glasses that lived in the drawer when I worked at my desk then decided since I had the parts that their had to be a way to have them fixed. I found World Optic through a quick google and Reddit search for local, affordable glasses modifications. I placed an order/RMA on their website on 1/26/26, immediately received an email with a prepaid shipping label, and the. mailed out my new Miu Miu glasses on the same day. On Tuesday 1/27/27 I received email confirmation of delivery to their shop and a separate email with assessment options and prices. I paid $79 for the basic option of nose pad modification. They even preemptively chose the gold nose pad arms to compliment the frames (I didn't add specific cosmetic requests in my order). By Saturday 1/31, I gave them a call to ask about the status of my glasses which they let me know were shipping out that day. Today, 2/2, I received my brand new, perfectly fitting Miu Miu glasses and couldn't be any happier! I'm so excited to know that I can get more plastic frames now that I've found World Optic to add the nose pads for me!

There was hoodies to sandals, sunglasses and casual every day items. I ended up buying a few shirts for friends and family back in Vegas for the holidays! The customer service was great. Disneyland Parking Hack at Anaheim GardenWalk (April 2026 update)…read more I saw this info on Instagram and decided to try it myself at the end of April 2026. Sharing both the update and my actual experience. From what I saw online, starting April 1, 2026, parking at Anaheim GardenWalk increased from $18 to $20 for the discounted daily rate, and the process is now different. You no longer need to upload receipts by text. Just buy something at Starbucks, Paris Baguette, or Meet Fresh. At checkout, you need to ask for the "$20 rate" voucher since they won't offer it automatically. They will give you a paper voucher to scan when exiting. Regular parking is first hour free, then $4 per hour, with a $30 daily max. Still cheaper than Disneyland parking. My experience： Navigation: Anaheim GardenWalk 321 W Katella Ave, Anaheim The entrance is on W Katella Ave and goes straight into the indoor structure. The signage is a bit confusing. Elevators show B2 to 5, while parking levels are labeled P1 to P4. Just remember your P level and section. P1 is ground level and has parking plus Paris Baguette P2 and P3 are parking P4 has parking, Starbucks, and Meet Fresh. Google Maps labeling here is a bit misleading Parking tip. Try to park near the elevators since the payment machines are right there. I went on a weekday around 5pm and parked at P3 section B. I walked up to P4 and Starbucks was right around the corner. No mobile order available at that time, card only, and they close at 6:30pm. After ordering, I asked for the parking voucher. Staff did not offer it unless I asked. Walking to Downtown Disney: Fastest route is toward Disney Way, then connect to S Harbor Blvd. If you are not sure, you can navigate to Foundation Room Anaheim. After going down the stairs you will be on Disney Way. It took about 12 minutes to reach security. On the way back, I tried walking from Din Tai Fung toward W Katella and then S Harbor. It added about 30 extra minutes. Going back the same way is definitely faster. Parking payment result: Before leaving, I scanned my ticket and it showed $12. First hour free, then $4 per hour. Then I scanned the $20 Starbucks voucher and the machine showed I could exit with no payment. I even asked staff to confirm and they said if it lets you exit, you are fine. I ended up leaving without paying. That said, the system didn't seem very stable. I saw a few cars getting stuck at the gate. I probably just got lucky this time. I wouldn't expect free parking every time. Safer to assume around $20 per day with validation. If it ends up cheaper, just treat it as a bonus. Either way, it is still cheaper than Disneyland parking, so I would use this option again.

She asked me if the following week would work and I agreed, assuming everything was set. She did not ask for more information from my end. When I arrived after a 45-min drive to my appointment, the front desk girl asked for my insurance information. I found this odd, as I assumed it would have been handled ahead of time like at other optometry offices. After checking her system, she told me that she couldn't get the authorization because a previous eye exam place was "holding" it. She told me to call 1-800 VSP number to have it "released", but the hotline & the previous eye place was already CLOSED. She said I wouldn't be able to get any eye exam today via insurance. I told the girl, "I wish I was notified earlier". She asked if we can reschedule and I told her that I'm no longer available other days. The next morning , I called the other optometry place & VSP hotline and they confirmed I have an open authorization. NOTHING WAS ON HOLD. This was a huge waste of time!!! If you value efficiency and proper communication, please go somewhere else.
