As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away and seated. The young lady shaped my brows quickly and efficiently. She suggested I try henna brows, and I was honestly hesitant at first. But she could tell I was a little curious and confidently explained the benefits without being pushy. I finally said, "Okay, let's do it," and it was hands down the best decision. I actually was gonna update my review from the last time I got it done...one lady a few weeks back did great went back for a clean up and the lady messed up the shape of my eyebrow and took more out that was not needed. I gave this spot a try after finding them on Yelp for eyebrows. I came in on a weekday during my lunch break and there was no line. I think I had Neha and she was great! If you check in on Yelp you can get a free lower lip thread too. Their prices are a little cheaper than other places. I would consider doing the henna eyebrow in the future and I'll definitely be back in the future! There's plenty of parking in this area since it's in a shopping plaza but it also isn't the safest plaza. Make sure to not keep any valuables in the car. read more

Says they close at 8 but I came at 7:10pm hoping for a consultation but the guy ignored me and of course no one answered when I called their number. Funny, someone called me back 20 mins ago from the website and told me they'd be open until 8pm... So they texted me back to argue with me and asked me to take down my review. This could've easily been resolved with a simple "I'm sorry for the confusion " instead of blaming me for believing you were open until 8pm as listed in your Yelp where I found you. read more

Walking in, Neha was occupied and I asked to wait for her but the other lady working insisted she'll be available in 20-30mins and that she could do it. I caved in and let her and she kept messing up. She also started threading really slow after I asked her to fix it the first time, do you know how painful that is?! After about 3 tries, Neha walked back in thank god and I asked if she could take over and fix what the other girl messed up. I always get my eyebrows threaded, I used to come here all the time when it first opened. They used to do a great job. I decided to stop by and boy was that a mistake. The lady who did my eyebrows was so ROUGH. It was so painful. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded since I was a teen and never have I ever experienced this kind of pain. She didn't even get all the hairs off. She ended up tearing my skin off and it was bleeding afterwards. My skin was so sensitive for a whole week. Absolutely love my eyebrows. This was my first time getting them threaded and they hurt just as much as they do when waxing but the outcome is so much prettier. Only slight redness with no inflammation and she was super quick! I also got the henna and while I love how they look I do think that next time I'll have it sit on there for a bit longer since it's a little too light on certain parts. Ok so don't get me wrong, overall she did a wonderful job but I do have a couple of concerns. As far as eye brows go, the shape was exactly what I wanted, thick but following the natural arch to my brows, she was fast painless and super on point with that. She used rubbing alcohol on my face to clean the area and prep for dye, Ive had this done before so it's not a huge bother but I really wish all salons would use the alternative. I told her I didn't want them dark when doing the tinting and the dye was left on for 12 minutes, every time I've gotten my brows done (this is my first time here) the longest the dye has ever been left on was 10 minutes and they were too dark, that's exactly what happened here, they're a lot darker than I wanted them, like 2 shades darker actually so I had to scrub them a bit when I got in my car to take away some of the dye. Concerning the precautions that should be taken during a pandemic, she didn't wipe down the chair in between customers, I had to ask her to change her gloves before starting on me, and rather than running the string through the mask or hanging it from a safety pin on the outside of the mask she pulled her mask down so the majority of her mouth and her entire nose were out. This is not only dangerous for her customers but for herself as well. I probably shouldn't be getting my brows done during a pandemic anyway but this is the second time in 6 months the caterpillars on my face needed to be tamed. With all of that being said, overall the young woman who worked on me was efficient and very talented and nice. read more

Essentially no wait and we were in and out in no time. Minimal shop decorations besides a few couches, mirrors and two beauty stations. Paid $8 each for our eyebrows, which is great on the wallet. It is unfortunate when a business does not investigate a customer's complaint. The way the complaint was addressed was for an employee, not the owner or the manager, to call the offending employee and take their word that they did nothing wrong. It is one of the reasons why businesses fail. I have visited this business on numerous occasions, only on the weekend, this time it was on Wednesday. When I arrived, the employee was standing outside of the store eating something. When she saw me approaching, she rolled her eyes and walked into the store. When I entered, she asked what service I wanted. She then handed me a tissue and said, wipe your face it is dirty. I thought I had misunderstood, but she repeated it. What an insulted! I told her my face wasn't dirty... The employee clearly did not want to work on me. The offending employee, told the employee acting as the owner/manager, that she offered me a tissue because I was sweating, which was a lie, and would never talk to a customer that way. What is even more impressive is when I called, the employee acting as the owner/manager, knew who I was talking about when I didn't know the employee's name. I didn't call for two weeks, yet the employee remembers this clearly? Too many businesses come into the community and make thousands of dollars off, I will say in this case, African American Women, and think they can say or do anything without repercussion. I started to let it go because I was sure it would not be addressed or resolved. I was right. read more

This place is located in the Vallejo plaza in between the dollar tree and planet fitness. It's a large, clean brow bar with 3 work stations. Typically one employee is there at a time (I've never seen more than one when I've been). They have a waiting area with 3 small couches, tv, and a few chairs with various jewelry and make up accessories. They accept debit, credit, cash and of course tips. Large mirrors are located on the walls with aloe gel and alcohol at a small station used at your discretion. $7(now $1 increase) for eyebrow, $5 for top lip and you get a stamp card (8th one free)!
