I have not been seen yet. A person that came in after me is getting their nails done, and yet I have been sitting here for my birthday nail set for nearly an hour despite showing up on time. The vibe in here is nice, and it is a clean shop (I've had time to observe since I've been sitting here).

Been coming here for years but lately it seems all the good eyebrow technicians have left. This…read moretime I had a new lady (to me) who I explicitly told that I wanted a "light cleanup only" multiple times before she started yet she still ruined the thickness of my eyebrows. Her rationale was "I just gave you shape"...I didn't ask for her to shape them. I asked for a simple cleanup. Not sure if I'll be going again but strongly recommend that the salon train their staff to follow customer directions.

I have driven by this place many times and it always caught my eye. Brand new, seems clean and well…read moremaintained from the outside. I went in a few weeks ago needing my eye brows cleaned up before my vacation. Upon entering there was a dog barking from behind a gate. The lady seemed very nice who owned and operated the salon. She told me to not pet the dog and took me in the back room to do my eyebrow consult. I told her I just needed a very simple clean up. Being a man, who already had nice brows, I had just assumed that meant waxing the unibrow, and any stray hairs that were not part of the brows. I guess I should never assume anything ever again. When she was finished she had completely re shaped my eye brows. My left brow was a decent shape but half of the width it used to be. I'm a big man, with now a tiny eye brow. My right eye brow was a whole centimeter away from where it should have started and was a completely different shape than my left one. I understand that eye brows are to be sisters and not twins, but my two brows weren't even related. The right one as well as being very thin and shorter in length had a VERY high arch to it. I guess I should have showed a picture of what I wanted but I didn't think I needed to because the other salons have waxed my eye brows and got it right. On top of it all, she was $20 for a bad brow wax, other places are far better in the Acton area and are much cheaper. My take away is to avoid this place at all costs. I now have to let my eye brows be bushy and gross until they grow back in before I can get them waxed, and anyone who has had a bad brow job knows that it will take 8-12 weeks to do so. Thank you nouveaux salon for making me look weird on my vacation and for practically the whole summer. Avoid this place!

Make sure to request Jessica!…read more I saw her work on Facebook as I was looking for someone to help after my disastrous salon experience a few months back. I was scared!! Jessica eased my mind. I trusted her instantly as I overheard her conversation about a bridal client she helped (who had MULTIPLE hair disasters) before her big day. I had asked for a more defined root to make it look like the balayage I requested from my LAST hair stylist (which she ended up just doing highlights. Not what I asked for. Jessica fixed it for me!) as well as a super blond, high chunk in the front (fiancé is obsessed with Rogue from X-Men, lol). She gave me exactly what I was looking for and I was beyond pleased! I've gotten quite a few compliments and I love how fun it looks. Overall, great service, fantastic value and I'll be back soon!

Never had to return for a fix on a nail in my memory....got my nails done 4 days ago and had the nail fairly pop off ...they charged for the fix..grr..OK..fine.... This is also my second time getting lashes and the last set was almost a war zone to get off, but I was happy they were so sturdy. This second go they had a younger tech install them and they definitely did not look as good as the first time I had them done...Fine, different styles, I'll live....I wasn't so fine with it when they started falling out. I was also charged today for that "fix" ....even though its only been a few days! Its frustrating that they didnt take recognition that I had JUST been there for the installation and perhaps the fallout was because it was a poor one. Customer loyalty is number one to me in my own business and for business that I am a patron of and I'm more than a little pissed off and definitely disappointed. Not planning to return anytime soon.
