I went in a few weeks ago needing my eye brows cleaned up before my vacation. Upon entering there was a dog barking from behind a gate. The lady seemed very nice who owned and operated the salon. She told me to not pet the dog and took me in the back room to do my eyebrow consult. I told her I just needed a very simple clean up. Being a man, who already had nice brows, I had just assumed that meant waxing the unibrow, and any stray hairs that were not part of the brows. I guess I should never assume anything ever again. When she was finished she had completely re shaped my eye brows. My left brow was a decent shape but half of the width it used to be. I'm a big man, with now a tiny eye brow. My right eye brow was a whole centimeter away from where it should have started and was a completely different shape than my left one. I understand that eye brows are to be sisters and not twins, but my two brows weren't even related. The right one as well as being very thin and shorter in length had a VERY high arch to it. I guess I should have showed a picture of what I wanted but I didn't think I needed to because the other salons have waxed my eye brows and got it right. On top of it all, she was $20 for a bad brow wax, other places are far better in the Acton area and are much cheaper. My take away is to avoid this place at all costs. I now have to let my eye brows be bushy and gross until they grow back in before I can get them waxed, and anyone who has had a bad brow job knows that it will take 8-12 weeks to do so. Thank you nouveaux salon for making me look weird on my vacation and for practically the whole summer. Avoid this place!

They always nail it when it comes to my hands and feet and they know the type of colors I like so they always make suggestions, which is great because it makes you feel like they actually pay attention to what their customers enjoy! DIP NAILS are AMAZING! Lasted me a month and still looked good when I went in for my 4weeks appt. Kathy is amazing! She takes her time to make sure your eyebrows are shaped correctly and takes out just what is needed to give you the right shape for your face! Customer service I must give them two thumbs up, they are always willing to work with my crazy schedule since I call about 100x to reschedule my appts. They are very well presented, the location is always clean and organized. The staff is friendly and always smiling. They always want to make sure you are satisfied with your service. I always leave Kathy's flaunting my nails and brows! Things to keep in mind; Kathy does not take appts for eyebrows service, it is first come first serve which you have to put ur name on a list. She is VERY BUSY (goes to show she's really good at what she does) but it is worth the wait! So if you are someone that is in a rush I suggest you come early right when they open :)

I have naturally thick, but somewhat uneven brows. She has been working with my natural shape AND has shaped them into beautiful brows. She waxes, plucks, and tints them for me. As I have aged I noticed they are a little less full and slightly lighter than in the past. Johany also waxes my upper lip, and chin area. I have also enjoyed one of her magnificent facials!!! OMG!
