I have been thinking about getting lashes for a while now, since my friends have been raving about how much they change your life. I have been hesitant because I was nervous that 1) they wouldn't look natural, 2) they would fall out and be patchy, 3) it would be a tedious and uncomfortable process. I purchased a Groupon and went to Mai. Let me just tell you, she is amazing! I get compliments from all of my friends that have been getting lashes for years!! They last a very long time, they don't fall out patchy, and Mai makes the process so so comfortable. I have come back 4 times, and will continue to come back. I had an appointment for December 28 2020 to get my eye lashes filled, I called serval times to verify my appointment and I did not receive a call back. Although Google and Yelp said they were still open for business. I went to 555 Sutter Ave the second floor to DNA Salon where I waited for a half and hour. When I left I was very upset that I took time out of my day for this. Today I get a call from the owner who was rude and aggressive yelling into the phone stating I was mistaken and did not book an appointment with her business. I understand it was a technical issue but the way she handled the situation is uncalled for and unprofessional. I am very unsatisfied with the costumer service of this place. read more

This is a long overdue review!! Mai has been doing my and friends lashes for over a year and it has been wonderful. I knew that my lashes looked great and that I looked great when I woke up on the morning but I didn't fully appreciate how great mai was until amid an extensive travel schedule I got a touch up in LA from a very popular (overpriced) and well reviewed lash (not) artist. The stuck some (expensive)lashes on me and kept it moving. Mai takes my eye and face shape inconsideration as well as the character of lashes ( thick and glossy but not a great number of them)and designs a lash pattern that creates a gorgeous lashline but that more importantly, holistically enhances my face a and eyes. I have found my new place for eyelash extensions in SF!! I have been getting my lashes done for quite some time now - however in NYC. I have been looking for a good place in SF! I must say that Mai at Eye Plus Lash is the best by far! I was so happy with how they came out! My eyelash extensions look amazing! She is very highly trained and uses the best products. The eyelashes feel so incredibly light - you can't even feel them on your lashes - they're not hard and plastic-y, and they don't poke or irritate you. She also uses an amazing glue that makes the extensions really stay on. Further, you don't have to wait 24 hours before you can get them wet - they can get wet asap. My lashes stay on longer and look great. I am so thankful to have found her, and would recommend her to everyone!! read more

I purchased a GROUPON deal early July for a full set of lash extension. I followed the instructions to contact the merchant for an appointment within a week. The lady I spoke to on the phone was not very polite and instructed me to go to their website to check the availability and schedule an appointment there. She instructed me to be sure to show up for my lash extension appointment without eye makeup on. I have received many eyelash extensions for 2 years now and never once was asked by any of the lash extension professionals no eye makeup is one of the requirements. From that moment, I regret purchasing the deal. Eye Plus Lash sounds like a merchant who expects their customers to accommodate their needs more than serving the customers. I already purchased the groupon deal therefore decided not to waste my $100 and proceeded with scheduling an appointment via their website. Another disappointment occurred when I found out the earliest availability is about 3 months away. I was hoping to get my lash extensions within 2 weeks. I booked the earliest availability at the time in October, received confirmation. Finally it's close to my appointment time end of September, I received an auto-reminder email to remind me my upcoming appointment. I was looking forward to it after the long 3 months wait. Then few days later, they sent me a cancellation notification email. No call/email explaining the reason why they canceled my appointment last minute after I waited for 3 months. This is not professional. I'm not sure if they treat their Groupon clients and non-groupon clients differently or not. For those of you who are new to this merchant, be sure you check their availability online, verify their customer service on the phone before you purchase your online deals. I made a mistake but fortunately Groupon refunded my money. read more

A bait and switch kind of place. I got a Groupon for this place and called to make an appointment. I told Mai that I needed to make an appointment sooner than later because it was expiring soon and all the open slots on their online scheduling system showed only dates many months out (past the expiration date of the Groupon). She told me they honor the Groupon deal and to just book it regardless. I didn't push to see if they could squeeze me in because I trusted what she said about honoring the deal. The day before the appointment I called to confirm that they'd honor the Groupon deal and she said: no, you'll have to pay and extra $120, on top of the $120 I already paid. She said there's nothing she can do because if she honors the deal, she doesn't get paid. Groupon keeps all the money. ---I asked her that the $120 I already paid doesn't go to her and she said: No. If you had told me it was going to expire I would have fit you in. You need to call Groupon and ask for an extension. I literally opened with 'it's going to expire, I need to make an appointment' when I called months ago so basically she gave false info to make sure customers booked and then charged them the full amount later. THEN when I asked to reschedule, given the circumstances because Groupon takes 48hrs to respond to emails, she said she isn't going to reschedule. She is going charge me a $25 cancellation fee. read more

Absolutely love Eye Plus Lash. I had tried different places and was happy, but never completely satisfied with my overall experience and look. From the moment you walk in, Mai makes sure to take care of you. I felt that not only was the overall service phenomenal, but Mai's professional and personable attitude added to the whole experience. My lashes look and feel amazing and the quality of the work is definitely seen as the weeks go by since my lashes don't fall out except naturally. The service is amazing, Mai made sure to explain the overall process and I especially liked that she identified the type of glue that she was using. Mai also made me feel really comfortable, although we had just met, she was easy to talk to and converse. I'm in love with my 3D Lash extensions!! They look so natural. In the past I found the lash glue burned my eyes but 3 weeks out and absolutely no irrigation from the glue Mai uses. I also love that I can get the lashes wet as well/ The lashes are really high quality. They also feel completely weightless.
