Would not honor my appointment even though I drove from a town an hour away and there was a lot of construction. I was 2 minutes past their 10 minute grace period...and 1 minute of that was standing in line to get checked in. Really couldn't believe the coldness of the staff. read more

just. Got in contact with Medicaid to report them today if you have kids dont go here your child just may be wearing another child's glasses .. I was told not to return I was rude cause my child glasses was given to someone else's child .. so that's not a reason for me to be rude yall not paying for her glasses but I'm upset my daughter don't have her glasses n another child having trouble cause he or she has the wrong glasses . Kept asking for a manager no one ever called back in 3 damn months but I took it up with Medicaid today won't get to much service from Medicaid anymore I'm hoping with this type of service .. don't deserve the 1 star read more

The worst eye doctor I have ever went to and I've had glasses for 20 years. If you are looking for a full comprehensive eye exam do not go here. It was quick and they did not check contact fit or the health of my eye like other places. Very disappointed I wasted my yearly visit on this place. I was trying to find a new location since moving from grovetown but this place was not it. The employees were not friendly or helpful. They did not have the experience I am used to with RGP lenses and I did not feel confident ordering from them. I am still waiting for them to confirm my prescription so I can order else where. I do not recommend this place at all. Even with this pandemic they won't let us come in for my husband just to pick out glasses and place the order without an appointment. We went to lens crafters who allowed us to walk in and order glasses right away. Update 7/27/2020 the manager reached out to me and made things right . Offered to do a new eye visit and got me my prescription and assisted to order what I needed. I really felt like she took my feedback to help improve their business for the future. read more

Terrible customer service and they hire a new manager Alexis S. who is incompetent of her job! I can't believe they hired her with a bad rep at Stanton Optical is what I was told after she was very rude and disrespectful towards me. I can't even click half a star. The lady at the front is very rude I've worn glasses for years and I've never had such a bad experience with how I was talked to. I asked for a managers # I wasn't given that & I was embarrassed to be talked to in that way right in the front of the office. They'll have a nasty attitude with you and when you get one back they don't service you. You give respect to get respect . This same lady was also rude to my mom because SHE gave someone else my sisters glasses and talked to my mom as if she came and picked them up and forgot she was 100% sure she gave us the glasses and she didn't someone else has them . I went to pick my own glasses up and she proceeded to tell me my mom sent a threatening message and they weren't gonna get my sisters glasses remade AT ALL when all my mom said was why was she acting like we lost the glasses when they gave the glasses out wrong . I believe they didn't want to service her because they were going to have to pay for the glasses they GAVE OUT wrong . I simply asked well who has them she said "I will not discuss that with you but your mom isn't aloud to call up here and we contacted local authorities" mind you me and my sister are two separate patients if I came to pick own my glasses up she shouldn't have been nasty with me . I left came back in to get the managers # I was given a card that has the number you call to speak to them at the front and when I called I constantly got no answer and I left a message with no response days ago. My mom will be contacting Medicaid to let them know someone else has another child's glasses on and their doing NOTHING about it they didn't even call my mom to let her know they weren't making the glasses at all. I don't even want to be a patient myself anymore I WOULDNT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!! I never had a problem with anyone else but this same lady alwaysssss has a bad attitude and ruins the whole happy experience to get new glasses . Idk how all of this even happened when she told us "IM 100% sure I gave the glasses to rickia" she was nasty to us then when she was wrong all along ...come to find out she didn't now all of a sudden we can't get any glasses at all . I had an emergency with one of my eyes and the Doctor here at Eye Care One saw me right away. After my exam he referred me to a specialist in Augusta, they called that office for me as I stood there and got me the appointment I needed right away. Took care of my problem all within a few hours! Excellent Doctors and service in this office on Richland as well as Dr. Kaitlin Hawkins on Silver Bluff Road, who found a problem five days earlier! read more

This was my first and most likely my last dealing with eye care one. The front office staff appeared preoccupied with other things. It took a good bit to get checked in. While I waited I looked at some of the frames. Someone asked if they could help. When I answered that these were all way out of my budget she pointed me to a very small area with a few reasonably priced frames. Just in general the atmosphere in the front was unfriendly. One nice thing I did notice about the front is the keep phone chargers out for those that mat need them. The lady that brought me back was very nice. She explained things clearly. The doctor was pleasent. They refused to take measurements needed for me to order my glasses on line if I was not getting my glasses from them. So that sealed the deal for me.... not a place I would ever recommend. read more

They suck at customer service! Just received bill from over year ago. After requesting at intake that I would never be using my medical insurance to cover any of the services they offer! Now instead paying, as I requested, at time of service I have to pay a year later! Mmmmmmm. I may not work as a billing associate but I have my degree in it...... worked it for 8 months too! So I did not need the unwarranted explanation of how it's cheaper to be billed for medical services, that I requested to be billed directly for, instead of paying out of pocket!!!! Why didn't your dumb ass ask those questions a year ago! Oh because you weren't employed there yet; so you should also understand why the idiots that used to work there don't or maybe they let the blonde grow out of their hair--- yes I remember!!!! Wasn't very interested or attentive to the customers walking in. No greetings. I had to ask where to go for check-in. After the eye exam, once again, no one followed up on the results; if I wanted to fit for glasses or anything. If I'd walked out the front door, I don't think it would have bothered anyone, I had to ask, "Okay, will someone help me find a pair of glasses now?". However, I will say, that the person that helped was very nice and very helpful with eyeglass selections and overall costs associated...once engaged (the second of the 2 stars is for her). I was also given a trial pair of contact lenses to try with the directions to call back and let the Dr. know if they felt comfortable and if I could see properly before the Dr. would release the prescription to me. And I did call back the next day to say I needed something different. I was told the information would be relayed to the Dr. and someone would call me back...I waited a week. No phone call. I finally called them, and no surprise, I could not get through. A constant busy signal. So I called the Silver Bluff location in hopes that they could help instead, I will be seeing them soon. I hope for better service and results at the Silver Bluff location than what I received from the Richland Ave. location. I will not be going back to the Richland Ave location if I can help it. read more
