I have been a patient of this practice since 2008 but recent visit was horrible to the point I will never ever come back and advice u to do the same. I had appointment at 1030 and at 12 15 I was still waiting. I asked the staff and he said "if I want to keep waiting or reschedule",? Oh really. I waited almost 2 hrs wasted my value time so I can reschedule? ? I waited for another 10 min then took off. The doctor is greedy and try to book many patients at the same time. Also , the last time I was there he said I had glaucoma. . Wow. Big diagnosis.. I was scared to death , get a second opinion, turn out I don't have glaucoma. I only come this time really because it near my house and need prescription for new contact lense. 2 hrs wait??? If u want to waste ur time and got wrong dx, go ahead! read more

Let me start off by saying that I've been coming here for about 21 years. That is a very long time. I come here because I like Dr. Nguyen and the service he provides. With that being said they have about 4 new girls working there. I had an exam on 7/7 and have been back there about 4 times due to one of the girls being disorganized and inconsistent. On my first visit I received my exams, picked out my glasses, and received my contacts. The thick Hispanic girl with dk brown hair was suppose to call my insurance to see why my insurance wouldn't cover both items and call me, but I never got a call. The contacts did not work out for me so I came to return them. I asked the girl did she call my insurance and she said yes and then told me what she found out. She did not give me a reason to why she didn't notify me. She was supposed to order the Acuvue Vita contacts on that day. I came back on 9/1 to pick up my contacts and another girl was looking for them but could not find them. She looked in the computer as well, then asked the girl that was supposed to order them(which is the same Hispanic girl). The girl had not ordered them and acted dumbfounded. I reminded her that she said that she was ordering them when I came in to return the other contacts. I also reminded her that She also told me to remind her to give me the rebate for the contacts(remember this for later). I was upset at this point. She did not want to take responsibility for not doing her job. She said that she would order them and give me a call, like I could trust her word. I finally came to pick up the contacts on 9/20 and not only did she order me 6 months worth(REALLY) She also reneged on what she told me about the rebate. When I asked about the rebate she stated that the rebate is for 1 year not 6 months. Bro I didn't know that you was ordering 6 months worth. I always do a year and I will be speaking with Dr. Nguyen about this and I want an itemized statement of what I paid for. read more

I went about a month ago paid $475 for my son appointment and glasses. I received a call a week ago to come pick up sons glasses Saturday morning. Drove over there they are closed. I have called this people everyday since Saturday to pick my sons glasses that I already paid for. Left numerous voicemails and nobody answers or call back the unprofessionalism that is going on in this facility is insane. A friend referred them to me but I just can't believe this. I called and made an appointment the same day before I went to get my yearly eye exam. I was greeted by all the staff and was taken care of as soon as I walked in the door. I just filled out some paper work and was taken care of immediately. I didn't take longer than 45 minutes to get my eye exam and receive a pair from the doctor and submit an order for more. read more

If I could, I'd give them 0 stars. I've been going here since I was a kid and I'm sorry to say I won't be back. The staff working the front are incredibly unprofessional and not helpful-no apologies for 'forgetting' to order my contacts. The past couple of times I've made appointments to see the optometrist I've had to wait over an hour-despite having an appointment. Why offer appointments if walk-ins are given preferential treatment? Save your money and find someone else who values your patronage. read more

Bad service, be careful make sure you know your insurance coverage, my insurance co pay for eye exam only $10 When I didn't buy contact lenses with them they ask for another fee charged which I have never heard that beforehand they call it is fitting fee for contact lenses! I contacted my insurance they told me it should cover if I want premium service I just pay follow up fitting fee is $3.50 if standard is $0 But they ask for pay fitting fee $45 if I don't want contact lenses they won't waive for the fee! That is a bullcrap they want to charge you to make you has no choice has to purchase contact lenses through them with ridiculous price ( 2 boxes s price = 3 boxes price from many other place) They need to verify clearly the charge & benefits with patient before exam so let patient make decision to do exam here or not! The staff talk to me admitted that the other staff failed to tell me upfront because they thought I will buy contact lenses with them, they lied too....I informed that "I just need exam only today". I still have enough contact lenses at home! I will buy whenever I need, I just need exam before I go far away home to study! I am just 18years I trust them as my parents' friend they won't treat me that bad! But I was wrong! If I know that I won't do any exam with them. I don't care how they deal with my parents, my parents shouldn't have to think about this friendship between them & the Dr. Now they won't release authorization with my insurance about the claim they had made if I don't pay them the fitting fee $45 Or have to buy contact lenses with them they will waive the fee after the staff talk to the Dr Nguyen. Actually I don't have any contact lenses from them. Now I study far from home, I check with local place for contact lenses they all my benefit gone for this year wait until next year! I had a 2 o'clock appointment and the rude Vietnamese people just did nothing. I was seen at 2:20 because they allowed 2 walk in people ahead of me. They ask me to wait and do everything by myself , do two custermer eye exam at one time !!! I did eye exam there, they will ask you sign a piece paper, pay attention to that paper ,(I want pay attention because I am tied for long day work !) be sure you read it all , because once you sign it , they will charge you extra 15 dollars for two eye drop . I was charged $75 for an exam. Initially, I was told my co-pay was $20 (which it is)...after stating I did not want to purchase contact lenses from them...my charge jumped to $75! They refused to apply my insurance (covers $105 for contacts and exam) but they charged me a $20 co-pay PLUS $55 for the exam! DO NOT do business with these crooks! On a side note..a walk-in exam without insurance is $55! Basically, I was charged twice! read more

Good prices, not a long wait. Definitely not fancy but I paid half of what I would have paid at a bigger eye care place. My only complaint was there was a little detail mission on my prescription which prevented me from being able to order the glasses online so I had to go back in and get measured but there was no additional charge. read more

On my way to pickup my glasses. I called ahead to find out what time they closed Saturday, March 24, 2018. A female answers and tells me 4:30. I arrived at 4:20 the doors were shut and the burglar bars were locked. I am so upset about this since I drove like a bat from hell to get there in time. Plus I really need my glasses. ive been going here since i was a kid, this place is horrible. i really wanted to give them a chance but i couldn't. the girl who tried to upsell me on contact lenses was so sleazy. i just got a whole sleazy i want your money vibe from her. what really upset me is that i didn't get an itemized receipt on what i was being charged and the customer service was horrible. the charges they tried to explain to me all the numbers were off. i called the insurance company and got different numbers as well. okay.. so how am i suppose to trust if you're charging me correctly now or you're just making up prices as you go? she told me my allowance was $95 while on my plan it said $150 also i was not charged $15.. overall this was one big mess and the doctor had to be sleazy as well as if he wanted to say well she didnt charge you that so im doing you a favor? uh no thanks? read more

I agree with others that the front desk staff is not so great. But the three exams and glasses I've reveived have been perfect and MUCH less expensive than any other source. They have many single vision glasses available for under $100 including the exam, so I can tolerate the staff issues. read more

I don't really know what is the point of getting an appointment here anymore. You walk in and sign in your name and they go by the sign in sheet. I always have to wait more than 40 minutes everytime I'm there. The staffs are not very helpful. read more
