I got turned onto Speedway when I learned that my Lowe's food gas points could be used on gas at speedway as well. All you have to do is link your Lowe's card to the Speedway app. Also there are points that you earn each time you buy something at Speedway and those points can be redeemed for things such as gift cards, gas cards, food, drinks, and often there are free perks too! On the Speedway app it will show you where the closest Speedway gas stations are and tell you their prices. I decided to review this particular speedway store off of Louisburg Road in Raleigh due to the amazing customer service they provide! Particularly from Shawn, an employee that I know has been there for at least the past year that I've been going. He always has a smile and a kind word. At a lot of convenience stores the staff comes off as not really wanting to be there but not Shawn!

Although they offer plenty of food options, I typically purchase gas here since it is cheaper than other gas stations in the area, and I have used the restroom. The restrooms are located inside and clearly labelled. They are clean, well-stocked with extra toilet paper by the sinks, and have paper towels and hand dryers. Oddly enough, I'm a fan of the soap that they use. It has a faint smell, foams up well, and makes your hands feel soft afterwards. Overall, I have had positive experiences here and recommend this gas station to others.

Family owned and operated! Don't let the slightly grungy exterior/interior turn you away! I first came to Ernie Lee's in 2006 due to the convenience of location for me and I'm glad I did! When you pull up, the exterior appears to be slightly run down especially when compared to newer chain type centers. And the inside isn't much different. But don't let the look fool you!! These guys are honest, priced decent and have great customer service. The waiting area consists of a small table w 4 chairs some stools at the counter and a bench outside. They offer free wifi and have a TV in their small waiting area usually set on WRAL. There are some drinks and snacks that you can purchase as well as coffee. If you want free bells and whistles this may not be the place for you. If you want great, affordable service and care then stop in and check it out for yourself. Ernie Lee and his crew always go above and beyond to make sure my car is taken care of. When I go for an oil change they will do things like fill my tires, put in a break light, headlight or windshield wiper for free (I provide the parts).
