I travel for work and always pick a Sheetz to stop at for bathroom breaks....this was the dirtiest store I've ever been to. The trash at the pumps was overflowing and all over the ground. The bathrooms were filthy. I decided not to grab lunch it was so bad. Not sure if they are temporarily short staffed but Management definitely needs to address it as it's obvious it didn't just happen over the last day or so. read more

I really like this Sheetz since the location is incredibly convenient. It is easy to spot and pull into from Capital Blvd. The gas station and convenience store are similar to other Sheetz locations with the layout, coffee station, walk-in beer cave, gas, 24/7 drive thru, and ample beverage and snack selection. Although they offer plenty of food options, I typically purchase gas here since it is cheaper than other gas stations in the area, and I have used the restroom. The restrooms are located inside and clearly labelled. They are clean, well-stocked with extra toilet paper by the sinks, and have paper towels and hand dryers. Oddly enough, I'm a fan of the soap that they use. It has a faint smell, foams up well, and makes your hands feel soft afterwards. Overall, I have had positive experiences here and recommend this gas station to others. read more

Grabbed a quick bite at Sheetz today! Food was good, made to order, and the service was quick. However, the store wasn't the cleanest. The fountain drink area had a lot of sticky stuff all over the counter and floor, the tables to eat at were also dirty, covered in food/sticky stuff. After eating we got gas and I chose to get a car wash. I picked the highest level wash ($15), in their touch free wash. After exiting the wash and the windows dried on my car, you could still see all the dirt on the windows still. After stopping at another store, I ran my finger across my car and my finger was dark with dirt. Not happy that the wash didn't get my car even a little clean. read more

Usually have few problems with a Sheetz but pump 14 hated me. Wouldn't take my nfc payment. Wouldn't scan rewards card. Took 4 tries to get the card read and then 93 octane was coming out at about 0.01 gallons to second. Was getting asked what the deal was by everyone waiting too. Lame. read more

It's not too bad for a Sheetz. I usually go there for lunch and gas since it's right by my work. There's usually quite a few people there getting gas when I come around lunch or in the afternoon, so you may be circling around for a bit. A couple of their gas pumps are out of service, so hopefully those will come back in soon. As far as food, I usually order the 2 for $5 lunch with a meatball sub and chicken strips. I get my meatball sub toasted, which depending on the person toasting the sub it could range from a warm sub to a little burnt. I still enjoy it though. If you get chicken strips, it's two pieces and sometimes you get lucky with big pieces and sometimes they are the size of chicken nuggets. They come out fresh and I like the taste so that's a plus. Overall, it's not too bad of a gas station. The service is fairly quick and the food is what you would expect. read more

My sister has a Sheetz card and told me about using it for various free goodies or other deals, not the least of which is $0.03/gallon off on your gas purchase! Sheetz stores are seemingly better stocked than most gas stations, they have a MUCH better coffee selection, and a made-to-order food bar. They also sell lotto tickets. This location is off Capital Bd in north Raleigh, just north of I-540. They need more gas pumps! read more

Competitive gas station with quick food/coffee that caters to traveling families or even just people on the go. Some days the gas is cheaper than BJ's, sometimes within a few pennies. I love Sheetz, but the staff at this location are not trained well in customer service. I ordered a frozen mocha, after waiting 30 minutes I approached the cashier and asked for a refund because I couldn't wait any longer. She didn't say a word to me, she just turned around and asked another employee to help me. The other employee said, "this has already been made." I responded, "I never received it." She looked around and found it sitting on a counter. She handed it to me and then proceeded to mock me and make me feel bad that I didn't see it. Apparently they have two "pick up" counters. It's sad that this location has such poor staff when their products are so good. read more

While I do love Sheetz, I try really hard to stay out of this location. It was a must yesterday as I am now the champ at running my tank on fumes until the last little vapor has finally diminished and I need to fill up. Why do I dislike this location? 1. The traffic in and out of it is a NIGHTMARE! 2. There is almost always a wait at the pump, and often times, you get to it and oops, the credit card sliding thingy is messed up, or out of order. 3. When you do go inside, it is usually a mess from the crowd that comes in and out throwing their trash on the floor rather than an actual bin, and I assume the staff is too busy to clean. 4. Don't even think of grabbing a bite or a smoothie because you will be waiting at least 20 minutes (after you've paid so it makes it difficult to bail) 5. Often there are some people, not sure if homeless or just trying to cause some trouble, begging inside and are thrown out where a fuss is made. Maybe police supervision of this locale is needed? I am hoping that this experience, as well as others I have had at only this Sheetz will prevent me from riding on fumes in the future. read more

I have noticed Sheetz locations pretty much all over Raleigh and the surrounding area.They are most aptly described as a gas station on steroids. It's the Walmart of the connivence store world, combining a gas station, connivence store, restaurant, coffee bar, truck stop, ice cream parlor, grocery store, etc. etc. etc. all into one under a single rooftop. The size of this location in particular is gargantuan, taking up a square block and a half on a corner all by themselves easily. Suffice it to say that the selection here is far more massive than you will encounter at any other connivence store. Every brand of soda or energy drink known to man graces the fridges of this place, along with metric tons of candy, chips, jerky, etc.There is also pretty decent and made to order bistro style food like Paninis, wraps, soups, etc. that are shockingly good for a "gas station". If you are expecting 7-11 style toxic nachos with self serve chili and cheese or microwave burritos the size of your forearm you will be in for a surprise. This place also operates on a "turn em and burn em" type of philosophy. Meaning they obviously stress speed in getting you in and out as rapidly as possible, which is clutch given the type of volume this place does. The clerks are cordial, but they talk and ring you up like meth addicts. They had me rung up and done in maybe 15 seconds tops. It's not just this location either, as every other Sheetz I visited operates with an identical modus operandi. Speed, speed, speed. I wish they had these back in Chicago. read more

I'm actually thrilled to write a review for this Sheetz. As my just into town friend and I waited in line for the car wash, a gentleman who works for sheets walked up to our car and casually mentioned the amount of road salt it had accumulated. He asked which package we had purchased and then told us that since our package contained a sealant, he thought it would be best to run the car through twice and use the wash we had purchased second. He told us he would be right back and brought us a code for a free basic wash to get the majority of the salt off the car before we sealed it with the wash we had purchased. WOW! I don't know what they're feeding the employees at this Sheetz, but it's working. Friendly, PROACTIVE service with a smile at a GAS STATION? Uh, hello...this is a no brainer, folks! read more

I've dined here several times now and I must say that it is pretty bad. They have a unique way of ordering in that you use a touchscreen to place the order. You select all of the toppings/sauces that you want on your food. Some cost extra such as ranch or pico. Seems kind of nice. Problem is, if you want extra of something, such as pickle, there isn't anyway to do it. Here's the rub, they add very little of the toppings that you select. For instance, I ordered a snack wrap with lettuce, onion, cheese, and ranch. There was like two tiny pieces of each and maybe a dribble of ranch. I had to open the snack wrap up to see if there was anything in it. Now I know that ranch and cheese are costly, but come on... lettuce? At least pack it full of lettuce to make it look like your getting your money's worth. I've also had a burger, a burrito and a sub. Everything lacked toppings. They also didn't taste great. The only thing that I've had that I've liked are the jalapeno poppers and fries. Can't really mess those up unless you under/over fry them. The convenience store side of the place is still good. They have a lot of variety of items from mini packs of aspirin, candy, drinks and other snacks. They have about 12 different types of fountain drinks including Cheerwine and diet Dr. Pepper. They're donuts are also pretty tasty and fresh. The customer service from the guys running the register has always been friendly. So if you're just stopping in to pick up a fountain drink and fill up, this is your place. If your looking for hot tasty food, go elsewhere. read more

I pulled in to this drive thru last night at about 10:00pm and placed my order. There was a car in front of me receiving service. Five minutes later a third car pulls behind me and we're ALL waiting. NO ONE CAME BACK TO THE WINDOW. I called the store to advise them that they had customers in the drive thru and to please come assist, as we had by then been waiting almost have an hour. (It was 10:24pm when I placed the call). The associate apologized and came STRAIGHT to the window, helped the FIRST car and left AGAIN for about 5 minutes. He came back to assist me. My order had already been placed but he asked for my order AGAIN! I was so livid at this point, but told him my order again . I asked for two 20oz sodas with my order and he brought me two 2 liters. I drove off. Too long of a wait, complete lack of regard for our time, and inefficient. This store is a PROBLEM. Please fix it!! You've lost a customer at this lackadaisical location!! read more

You really can't stop Sheetz. They're springing up all over the Triangle and, from what I can only presume, are bent on taking out all of the smaller BP's, Shells, etc... The company itself has been around since 1952 - a fact that I was only slightly surprised by considering the speed in which these places are growing. This location, however, is pretty terrible. The swarms of apartments encircling the gas station means that it's got a lot of walk-up traffic some of whom don't look too friendly. It appears to be doing well also, but again, that has nothing to do with the operation of this site. The customer service is spotty, the lines are far too long, the food is average, and they regularly have pumped that aren't in service. Still, the are priced very competitively, have free air (assuming the vandals haven't taken the handles - Dylan reference), and have a Red Box that remains well-stocked. Oh, make sure to get a Sheetz card, though. Saving that three cents is the only way you can feel better because, no matter what, you're going to get stuck at the light turning onto Capital. And it's going to take five minutes. read more

Accessing this place can be tricky since it gets particularly congested on this part of Capital Blvd. This is more of a travel plaza than a convenience store gas station. The building is visually appealing and the interior of the store is clean and organized.The hot dog's from the grill are about what you would expect from a travel plaza. read more

The location isn't the best in the world, especially when you are driving UP Capital BLVD to this location. I noticed that they finally put in ropes to show a line here. I can't tell you how many times I was patiently waiting for the next cashier, only to have someone walk in and jump in front of me. One suggestion would be a seperate gas line for cash clients, as I hate waiting in line at the gas pump while someone has to go inside and pay. Other then that the shelves are fully stocked and the restrooms are kept clean.. Use your sheetz card to get 3cents off along with other perks. Worth it for sure. read more

The decor drew me here. Much more going on than any gas stations I frequent in the midwest. The slushie selection and milkshake option were interesting. I stopped a few times to replenish my family. The hot food selection and amenities offered were standard. I wanted to get a car wash. The car wash was out of service. Had to go to Auto Bel instead. I also couldn't seem to find a Raleigh map to save my life. I ended up having to buy an entire atlas, of which they had plenty. And I have to agree with the last review, the traffic on Capital is so heavy and hectic that it feels as if you accomplished something great once you finally park your car at the pumps. read more

What was I thinking running into Sheetz for a quick snack at their "restaurant?" Sheetz may be a cheap place to get gas and pick up some prepackaged snacks, but I don't recommend their "restaurant." I placed an online order for a BLT, fries, mac and cheese, sampler, and a pepperoni pizza. I haven't picked up food at Sheetz before, so when I entered the store I went to the pick up area, where I was completely ignored by two employees. I had to yell to finally get someone's attention. I asked how I pay and was told what to do. I paid and went down to wait for my food. Upon receiving my food, I checked it to ensure it was all there. My pizza was placed in the bag sideways so it was sliding out of the container. I was missing the mac and cheese and marinara sauce for the sampler. I again had to wait to speak to an employee. When I told the female employee what I was missing she said okay and that was it. I stood there and waited (while the rest of my food got cold) only to be presented with a bag with the items in it. I checked the bag and the mac and cheese was overflowing in the bag. I had to take it out and wipe it off before putting it back in the bag. The female employee who prepared my order was not busy, so there was no reason for the order to be wrong or for her to have an attitude. Needless to say the food was average, but the service? One word: WOW. I've never felt less valued in my life. I know it's a gas station, but damn people, take pride in your jobs! And to anyone who reads this - steer clear of the "restaurant" at Sheetz! read more

So I go to this sheets everyday. Sometimes even 2-3 times a day. From drinks to gas to food, I buy it all. I already have over 6k points this year alone. Every time I come into this place, I spend AT least 5-10 minutes in line. Some days I stand way longer, and others I stand so long I have to leave and not buy anything cause I have to be at work. This place is SLOW and under staffed and POORLY managed. Tonight I went to try my luck at getting food cause there wasn't really anyone in there and it looked slow, so I was expecting my food fast.. Boy was I wrong!!! I attached a photo below, I waited 20 minutes for a chicken ceaser salad wrap. I order it to be fast cause it was cold and fast and easy! No one seemed to care about the speed, and there was a few people waiting behind me. Then people who were there after me, were getting their meals and I was STILL waiting. I am very very upset with this place. The bathrooms are always dirty. The morning lines are a nightmare. Gas prices are higher then a few other stations right around the corner. Something needs to be done or I will be taking all of my business elsewhere. read more

Probably the worst Sheetz I have been to. As long as you aren't ordering food, they're fine. However, customer service is awful when ordering food. I put my order in at 1:43 pm and waited until 2:05 to receive my order and found that i was still missing mozzarella sticks and they gave me nuggets instead of tenders. I asked if they had run out and they said yes. then another employee said something about cooking tenders for another order so I asked them if they had actually run out and she said no, they got to the bottom of the bag and decided to give me nuggets instead of simply asking if i would prefer to wait for tenders or eat something else. Then i pointed out what the other employee told me and i was asked if i wanted to wait for another order of tenders to which i replied i had been waiting 20 mins already and wasn't going to spend more time there. read more

If I wasn't married, I would certainly marry Sheetz. Seriously though, they have the cheapest gas and then when you use your loyalty card at the pump, you get three cents more off each gallon. I drive throughout the state for business, so I am going through a lot of gas each week. Sheetz certainly saves me money in that department. Also I love the coupons and freebies they sent to my phone. This is my birthday month and I got a free moon pie type cake. This might not sound like a big gift, but it was Friday afternoon and I was in the mood for something sweet, and after getting gas I looked at my phone to see what coupons or freebies I had. And there was one for a sweet treat for free. Let me tell you that treat was so fresh, it tasted like they had just put it in the cellophane. Another thing I like about this Sheets is that they have soft serve frozen yogurt. It is sold by the ounce, so you have to be careful and not fill your cup up too much, but the flavors are so good. Decently tasty food. REALLY miss the old ordering system out at the gas pumps. They got rid of it because of too many drive-offs... When I shared that you can link the gas pump credit card system to the ordering system - I got a blank look, and a "tell it to the owner". Lines are crazy long at lunchtime, takes a long time to pay for food and to get it. Even worse at dinner time on days that they have specials. Sandwiches are a step up from fast food, shakes and smoothies are good - not much variety tho. Convenience store is excellent, with decent pricing. The beeping from the cooking area WILL drive you insane if you stay inside long enough. Gas is cheap, only one cheaper nearby is BJs if you're a member, otherwise you've got to drive all the way to 440 to get a better price. read more

I love all Sheetz stores, but, especially, this one. It's service with a smile, the gas is always the cheapest, and the food is the best too, especially the doughnuts. On Sunday mornings I often stop by and purchase doughnuts for my son and me. The coffee is also very good, and when in a rush I will grab one from here as opposed to those coffee stores.
