Although they offer plenty of food options, I typically purchase gas here since it is cheaper than other gas stations in the area, and I have used the restroom. The restrooms are located inside and clearly labelled. They are clean, well-stocked with extra toilet paper by the sinks, and have paper towels and hand dryers. Oddly enough, I'm a fan of the soap that they use. It has a faint smell, foams up well, and makes your hands feel soft afterwards. Overall, I have had positive experiences here and recommend this gas station to others.

don't live too far from there so I'm a regular customer but the owner is very rude and called us…read morecriminals, thieves, every bad name in the book, because the nozzle wouldn't stop until we got one of the workers to help us out. there was enough proof where the gas was all over the ground but he claimed we everywhere else to do it when his worker said to us in his exact words" this happens sometimes" he said he will finish filling up for us using his card which wasbonky about $11 only for him to say we filled up then said the gas is on the ground. I tried to tell him we had 3 lines already but because of the distance we had to travel we thought of getting a little more gas, he said I should call the cops if I want a refund because he will not give me one. I called the cops not just because of the money but because this man called me a criminal when he knows nothing about me. The cops came , i guess he told him a bunch of lies and all of a sudden the police sided with him saying they can't really do anything but then Told me I'm not allowed to come back over there.... like hello why would I want to spend my money in a place like this after all. The owner Promised if I came back with the bank statement and the receipt with his signmature he would give me a refund but made it a problem when I went back! The police told me it's not illegal for someone to call you a criminal in North Carolina and the man has a right to tell me I can't come to his establishment anymore so Mr officer if you couldn't find evidence how is it that you finally found evidence to tell me I can't come back over there?

Family owned and operated! Don't let the slightly grungy exterior/interior turn you away! I first came to Ernie Lee's in 2006 due to the convenience of location for me and I'm glad I did! When you pull up, the exterior appears to be slightly run down especially when compared to newer chain type centers. And the inside isn't much different. But don't let the look fool you!! These guys are honest, priced decent and have great customer service. The waiting area consists of a small table w 4 chairs some stools at the counter and a bench outside. They offer free wifi and have a TV in their small waiting area usually set on WRAL. There are some drinks and snacks that you can purchase as well as coffee. If you want free bells and whistles this may not be the place for you. If you want great, affordable service and care then stop in and check it out for yourself. Because it is family owned most of the same people have worked there since I've been coming here. Theresa, who works the front desk, is super friendly and always has a smile on her face. Ernie Lee and his crew always go above and beyond to make sure my car is taken care of. When I go for an oil change they will do things like fill my tires, put in a break light, headlight or windshield wiper for free (I provide the parts).
