One random Saturday, we decided to head south and stopped at Fuel City. Note that the taco stand is cash only. I ordered Piccadillo and carne asada tacos and also picked up a cup of elote from the little stand out front. We ended up eating our tacos on the tailgate with the Dallas skyline as our view. Super simple but honestly so perfect. After that we wandered behind the car wash to go look at the longhorns and a couple of donkeys just chilling in the Texas sun. They do a bit better when it comes to items like sandwiches, pastries, etc. as I am sure they source most of it from the Tom Thumb grocery store directly across the street. Another nice thing is unlike many other places nearby, there are never any 'undesirables' hanging around the entrance (or the gas pumps) which is a big plus. Access to this station is fairly easy as it's rare for traffic to backup in the area. Lastly, while I have never used it, they do have an air compressor available to take care of any low-tire-pressure needs.

She watched me come in the door from the location where I was and she watched me return to the same door after she took my money for the gas and then I went right back in and she already telling me that someone else had pumped my gas on the other side of the store. And yes, I take accountability that I told her the wrong number to the pump but don't yell at me and lie to me saying someone else pumped my gas already when it was only less than 30 seconds before I returned to the store plus the other customer had NOT pumped their gas yet. Second, the cashier did not even try to go and stop the person from pumping the gas. She just literally yelled at me and told me I would have to go and do it myself because it was nothing they could do about it because it was already pumped by someone else, which was a total lie..,,., The lady hadn't even started pumping her gas yet, but was polite enough to come back in the store and pay for my gas....when I returned in the store, I let the cashier know that this person has not even pump my gas yet but I still got yelled at; cashier telling me that's not my problem It's your fault. I feel like most people working aren't really friendly, so that was nice to deal with. And number two, but the main reason I am writing this review is because of the clean restroom. I try to avoid gas station bathrooms, unless it is a Buccees, but when your kid has to go, he has to go. I feel like you can judge a gas station based on the restroom, and this location didn't disappoint. Overall, I think this is a great location, and if I need gas and I am in the area, I will make sure to have enough gas to come back here.
