The homeless were walking up to people asking for handouts which was worrisome to my wife who locked herself in the car. About 6-8 were encamped in the lot on the curb and I wouldn't want my wife, son or daughter by themselves getting gas or shopping. I understand people need help but begging for cigarettes and money by approaching people is uncomfortable. read more

The staff was unbelievably helpful!! Especially Ivory, the Assistant Manager and his assistant, the most incredible and friendly LEQUITA. I came in there to get Gas and a bite to eat. And ended up staying there for over 2 hours with car problems. They both took exceptional care of me. Being an out of towner... I felt safe and comfortable while I waited for AAA. Was running late to work and didn't have time for breakfast so I stopped here for an energy drink and what I thought were Chocolate Frosted donut holes. It wasn't until I had eaten one and realized it tasted bad that the "frosting" was actually white mold, they were not frosted donuts. 3.5/5. Pretty standard gas station, but it's pretty clean on the inside. The bathrooms are nicer than your run of the mill gas station, but it's far from perfect. What impresses me about this RaceTrac is their air pump. Compared to some of the other gas stations in the area, their air pump is programmable and lets you put a predetermined PSI into your tires so you can be sure they're all equally inflated. I will easily come back to get my tires pumped up here. read more

Not a good experience here. I used Apple Cash for a transaction and only had 52.25 on the Apple Cash which did not cover the total amount and it did a partial payment and cleared out my Apple Cash balance yet the chick behind the counter voided the sale before finishing the tender and so they took my money and she had the nerve to start getting loud in my face saying she doesn't want my 50$ and racetrack doesn't want my 50$ yet I called Apple Cash and they said they can't do anything while the transaction still says pending. I went back to talk to the manager and they said he would be in the next day so then I came again the next day and they said he won't be back until Monday. Well I can't come back another day dude. Are you kidding me? I asked him to call Scott the manager and he does and although he clearly remembers that day as he was here...he tells them over the phone he has to look at his computer and verify. Get real. Verify what?! I just told them I just called Apple Pay. Give me money!!! Ugh ....Beware don't use Apple Pay here or better yet don't go here unless you want to get ripped off just like I did. read more

A year later, the same situation hasn't been fixed.... EVERY time I come here, the card readers on the gas pumps dont work and I have to go inside, wait in line and pay. I need y'all to get your $h!t together at this gas station. Everybody doesn't like or have a need to go inside. Half of the time, I'm not even dressed up, or in the mood to be social, etc. I'm just trying to run a quick errand in peace. Which is why I enjoy things like paying at the pump and self check out at the grocery store. read more

Every time I come here it's a mess. The only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because it is conveniently placed by my house/school. There are always multiple pumps that are out of service with paper bags over the nozzle. Furthermore, many of the pumps don't take credit cards. What's worse about that is that it isn't evident. For example, you pull up to one of the few working pumps, put in your card, get all the way to the authorization step, just to realize it doesn't take cards. This then forces you to go inside and pay and because most of the pumps have this problem, the line is extremely long with only one person working at the register. To put the icing on the cake, the cash register attendant almost always has an attitude. I loathe coming here and I get very excited when I see the pump that I know takes cards is actually working. On a scale of Racetrac vs. QuikTrip, QT takes the cake. Racetrac has a few issues... for one, the employees aren't great. They aren't happy, they don't seem to enjoy their jobs, and they don't keep the store up well. QT has great employees. They hire the right people (which a lot of companies should learn!). Even if they're just paying them enough to LOOK happy, it's working. Racetrac is pretty dirty. The pumps are outdated, not clean, not a modern feel. QT has (fairly) modern pumps, they keep everything clean, and they don't smell bad like Racetrac [or 7-11, shell, any other gas stations.] So there's not a whole lot more to say here. I went here because I had a coupon for free coffee. It wasn't great, and the overall experience was pretty disappointing. I'll probably be back in the future, but it's not my first choice. read more

This place really ROCKS IT!! for a gas station....ha ha ha. I know that sounds funny to say, but with their new renovation it's like a brand new high style, well functioning convenience store. First of all, their service is always professional, prompt, friendly and helpful. Always. I have never had one associate ever exhibit negative or rude comments or behavior. Which tells me the company pays attention to staff morale, places ample amount of people per shift to handle busy rush hours. And has a manager or supervisor available for team support. Which translates to a well ran business. Second, gas prices are very competitive which works for my penny pinching wallet. Every bit saved is always appreciated. They offer an electronic phone app, which allows a guest to get points, discounts, and coupons for free promotional items. Basically, it's a customer loyalty program, which I also value. They are going to not only acknowledge me, but show appreciation. Yes!! That's a great plan. Which only brings me back every week for my petro. RaceTrac also offers a gas credit card with its own reward discounts, which sounds like something I need to pursue. Heck I am there every week, might as well capitalize on that relationship. Thirdly, their store offers a yummy frozen yogurt station wth a well stocked toppings bar with fresh fruit, candy treats, and everything in between. There are more than half a dozen freshly brewed coffees, with its own coffee topping station. It's variety to the nth degree on creamer flavors, spices, and a very cool whipped cream dispenser, it's the little extra happiness for a cup of joe. Fresh bakery items are offered daily: donuts, muffins, breakfast sammies etc. There is an open Deli case with yummy looking salads, sandwiches, yogurts, hoagies, and refrigerated snacks. There are tons of food and drink options here seriously. Bottles of wine. A full range of beer to choose from, 12 soda flavors, several brewed teas and iced coffees. Darn son, my mind is blown on how well rounded the variety is. Of course they offer those naughty roller finger foods, those pork tamales are not bad either. Do I lose my foodie credibility saying that?? Lastly, the store and gas pump areas are clean, including the bathrooms. Everything is well stocked. Inside and out. And at late night visits, they have a super sweet security guard. Now this area is not rocky, but sometimes one bad apple can spoil the vibe. I always feel safe with big bright lights and attentive staff looking out for my well being. Which as a woman, we just want to feel comfortable going about our errands without worry. The store is nice..... but a Gas station should have working gas pumps. Every time I come (bc it's right next to me and I usually love race tracs), I have to cycle through 3-4 pumps because the CARD READER DOESN'T WORK. All my friends complain of the exact same thing so it's not just me. I am really late with my schedule now and I still have no gas. I'm typing from the nearby 7 eleven. Please. I love RaceTrac. But this is too much. I'd rather you upgrade the card readers first before you upgrade the store. read more

I used to think Racetrac cared about the safety of their customers. Obviously not. Sadly at this location, there are SEVERAL people as soon as the sun goes down who loiter the parking lot aggressively panhandling. Their is a HUGE difference between "Do you have any spare change" and "Give me a dollar". It wouldn't kill this multi-million dollar corporation to hire a Security Guard to run these people off that aren't using Racetrac's Services. I will NEVER step foot onto this location again. Update: 07-27-2013 The safety at this gas station has gotten worse. Not safe after dark unless the Police are stopped there as well. read more

I usually stop here in the morning for a soda or coffee. The price of the gas is usually a little cheaper than other stations in the area. Fairly clean for the most part, and there are a good number of gas pumps. They also have an air pump which is free if you buy gas, otherwise it costs money to operate it. read more

Ive been here a few times because the gas is the cheapest in the area (per gas buddy).The attendants are nice, but tend to get in conversations amongst themselves ( its happen 4 out of 4 times) but good price for gas. read more
