The owner (I presume) asked me why I thought the brakes might be bad, and didn't patronize me with my answers, which I find happens a lot in mechanics shops. I was extremely pleased with how kind and professionally they treated me. They also showed me how bad my breaks were and managed get me in and out within an hour! We have been customers for years in Atlanta. Yesterday we had a slow leak and feared the worst so stopped by the store in Boone for help. It was later in the day, near closing time. We were greeted with genuine concern and promptly taken care of. It turned out to just be a screw in the tire. The tire was patched and we were on our way. I have no idea how Discount Tire manages to always have good employees. I've never had a bad experience at any of their stores. Yesterday was a little worrisome being in a town far from home so we were so glad to see a familiar store.
