As a large group of 'out of towners' Bertha sure did reach out to us making us feel welcome. We had to have passed a dozen employees where no one spoke at all... but Bertha went completely out of her way to reach us. She gave us some good suggestions on foods and event told us alittle bit about herself and how much she loves her job. She even gave us some cool facts about the meats that come to Ingles 82. The store was super clean with even cleaner bathrooms. Great experience while shopping and even better when we hit the gas station because we got $.15 off each gallon thanks to the $330 we spent inside the store. Love Ingles!

I would pay close attention to any meat that you buy. Most meat had the "manager special" sticker on them since they were close to their expiration date. To their credit, they had several checkout lanes open and seemed to be focusing on the customers. So hopefully once the rush settled the boxes of jalapeños and potatoes were cleared quickly.

The other thing: So as we pulled in we saw a couple folks leaning on a pickup with a trailer on which a motorcycle was strapped down hard, and in the back of the truck are two kinda low slung lawn chairs. Two other people walk up to them and they all appear to exchange pleasantries when two of 'em gets up in the back of the truck and sits down in the chairs while the other two get in the cab, start the truck, and drive off with their "friends" in back in totally unsecured lawn furniture... guess you have to know your priorities.
