I did refer to Yelp to get a better idea of the service they provide, and I'm elated to confirm that the parade of five star reviews are absolutely correct. As I later told my wife, a completely clean car feels at least 20% faster and more agile. You might just chalk that up to my Y chromosome, and I get it, but the fact is that the car feels exactly like it did the day I bought it. Brett and the team deservedly took pride in the great and comfortable environment they provide for both customers and their cars. The interior was spotless and devoid of any evidence that we took my in-laws' shed-happy Golden Retriever for a ride last week. The exterior was spotless and devoid of any evidence of the immense amount of brake dust that had built up on the wheels. All that for a completely reasonable price. Maybe it was because my car was only nominally dirty and not a complete mess, but they beat their time estimate considerably. It needed a detailing, but I did not know that, never having had a car detailed, only rarely giving it a good clean. I could not see the point of having the car detailed in winter, so I waited until summer to schedule it. Darren called to confirm our appointment, arrived at scheduled time. He had the tools he needed, and the knowledge how to use them. His cleaning emphasized the interior, though clean shining blackwall tires, and a waxed exterior are evidence he did not ignore the outside. The interior is as clean as it has been in years. Two and a half hours of his work, and I am one happy driver. The bad news is that having experienced a well done detailing, I might not be so ready to tolerate the cruddy interior which had not bothered me before. And I will definitely call Distinctive Shine when the time comes. Although I might suggest to my daughter that there is no Christmas present I have received recently which so delighted me. Absolutely did a great job on the car. If you are a car nut like myself you become very particular about how your car is washed to minimize scratches and what products are used. My husband is MUCH cleaner than me and has had this service once before and loved it. I never got it together enough to actually clear out my car before I could get it clean. After an hour of clearing it out (I know, there was a lot of crap in there), I was READY for the cleaning! They notified us when they were on their way and took almost 3 hours cleaning both our cars! The cars look great! I have never seen my car so clean, honestly. They were both very nice and thorough too. I saw them taking before and after pictures, which I'm sure is for insurance purposes too. I just like that they're responsible. We had both the inside and outside cleaned for $120, which I think is totally fair. I will most definitely user them again and am happy to have used their services!

Then I get to the drying area and the two guys were bitching and ticked off because the car wash was open for business during Labor Day weekend. And they didn't do a very good job of drying my car.
