Just want to share my positive experience getting an interior detail. I'd been telling myself I'd get my car interior professionally cleaned for years. Looking at various business websites, Extreme Clean seemed to fit my needs best. I called one afternoon, they were booked that day so I brought in my car the next day. On the phone I was quoted in the hundred dollar range for my vehicle. Came in the next day. It took about 3 and a half hours. There's coffee and magazines in the waiting room. Or you can go walk around the Whitaker neighborhood for a bit. I'm happy with the job done, everything looked clean and shiny. The guy I dealt with there was nice and professional. Also, there's currently a Yelp deal (10% off) which they accepted without any issues. I'll definitely be back here for any car cleaning needs. read more

I too bought a Living Social deal and realized on a Saturday that it expired on a Sunday. I called them up and they honored it no problem on Monday. It is always important with these types of deals that you read the fine print and I went into this knowing there would be additional costs due to my vehicle being an SUV and the fact that my lab loves to go bye bye. We walked the car ahead of time and I told them what was important to me and what was less of a priority. When I picked it up everything was done and they did a really great job. My SUV is older and has all kinds of seating configurations that create places for stuff to go and die. (case in point, the full squished sweet and sour sauce in a place I didn't even know the car had). For everyone that complains about a Groupon or Living Social I recommend that you be a wise consumer. First off, know the going rate of the service you are going to get and realize that some hot shot marketing person at these companies has asked "what is the absolute highest value of this service"? I paid, in total, less then I normally would pay for it but no way 50% off. I am ok with that. Would I use them again? Yes :-) read more

I had what was supposed to be a total auto detailing inside and out. When I picked up my Jeep I thought it been cleaned well, not so. When I got home we noticed the rear windows hadn't been cleaned, there were drips down the windshield from wax and the carpet and the seats were still stained and damp. I called them and took it back the next day. The windows were cleaned and they tried to take the streaks out of the windshield but all it did was smear it more. I was so frustrated I just said forget it, BIG lessened learned. I got home and rolled down the windows and they had not even lowered the windows when they cleaned them. There was dog drool an inch down the window on all four of them. I thought if they can't even roll down the windows to clean them right, again just forget it. Also when I picked up my Jeep there was something splattered all along the driver's side door, it was explained away as "already being there". I was again so angry, all I wanted to do is leave and never go back. It was a horrible experience and would NOT recommend Xtreme Clean Auto Detailing. Now I am stuck trying to have all the hazy smudged drips taken out of my windshield. It looks like I will have to have a new windshield put in my Jeep, a very expensive windshield. When the skinny guy squoze into the driver seat they had run down my battery and it had to be jumped. This was the first time we ever had a car detailed, and what a perfect experience it was! I requested a quote and Katrina (owner) kindly replied within minutes. It was the best quote in the area, so I went with it; I am so glad I did. The vehicle we brought in was 1999 Toyota Tacoma, which we bought used. It smelled like a huge ashtray, and was filthy. Steve diligently worked on it for hours, and WOW! I did not expect the difference!! No cigarette smell, the headliner was clean, behind the seats--I mean crazy "extreme" clean!! I used the 10% off check in coupon, and the total price was surprisingly low--even lower than what I was quoted. I have shopped around and you will NOT find a better deal! I do not understand how anyone could give this business less than a perfect 5 star rating. They are small business that is obviously striving for complete customer satisfaction. I called and they squeezed me in later in the evening which was great, but they charged $25 for a wash that only included the outside of my car and it wasn't even completely dry when I walked out. Not only that, it wasn't even completely clean on the outside as they had missed multiple spots of dirt. read more

I've been going to Extreme Clean to get my car fully detailed for years now, and they go above and beyond every time. Even my new 2021 Subaru Crosstrek looks brand new again after their work - despite lots of pet hair and mud from my dog who loves to swim and camping trip debris - and the owner Mike was even kind enough to drop off my keys since my car is fancy and wouldn't lock with the keys inside. They always move my stuff if I accidentally leave things in the car, have shown up early to work around my work schedule, and always give me a free ride to work after I drop it off to save me the Uber costs. We used this company as part of a "groupon" type deal, and the overall experience was such that we would not go back. The supervisor let us know that "most of their wages come from tips, so please remember that when you pick up the vehicle." Not the kind of thing I've ever heard at a service facility. I'm always happy to tip based on a good job (and did that day also), but not when told in that way. We also were told that the discount coupon covered very minimal services (not what the ad implied), but we could purchase extra if desired. Our final bill came to over double the original amount - not necessarily unacceptable, except that the quality was very poor and the time to complete the work was excessive. The vehicle was not ready that night as scheduled, but we didn't receive a call - only found out when we arrived to get the car. Came back the next day to pick up the vehicle, and immediately noticed the dashboard still covered in dust. Also noticed the front of the vehicle covered with bugs - the front bumper apparently hadn't been touched. The supervisor was very pleasant, and asked me to return later that day to get the work completed ("I'll do it myself"). He did complete the work and did a good job, but not work an extra trip back to finish what should have been done the night before! Would NOT use this company again . . . read more

These guys are awesome. Took my truck in for an interior detail for the first time ever (bought it in '04). That's six years of dirt, dust, grime, and who know what else - and the team at Extreme Clean made my truck look brand new! They leave no detail untouched - every surface was showroom clean! And they've got the best prices - I took another car to a "cheap" detail shop a few years back, and it was basically a waste of money. I took my RV in to the detailing shop and when my RV got finished with the detailing it came back looking worse than it did before. I got charged over $600 for a detailing that was worse than I started with I am very disappointed. They did offer to try again but at this point I don't want them touching my vehicles. read more

TL;DR - I can't even tell you whether it's clean, because I've been sitting here for 2 hours past my scheduled pick up time and it's still not done. DO NOT COME HERE if you can't be without your car for at least 24 hours. When I set the appointment: "I need to be done by 4:00. My car will need some extra vacuum work. Will that be ok as long as it's there by 8:30?" Yes, of course, that will be fine. When I dropped off the car this morning: "I need to be done by 4:00. My car will need some extra vacuum work, and I see that it's not in the notes. Will it be done by then? I have an appointment I cannot miss." Yes, of course, we'll make sure that happens. When I showed up at 3:50, it took 15 minutes of being in the office before anyone even realized I was here. I could see my car in the bay, obviously not done. When someone walked in, I asked how long, because I needed to leave for an appointment. "Soon" was the answer I was given (apparently by the owner, I later found out - he left right after that I was told). It's now 5:45, I'm (so far) out $100+ on the appointment I had to no-show (being trapped in this waiting room), 2 hours of my life, and they just came in to tell me that all they have left is windows AND VACUUMING. Edit: It's after 6, the owner came back (I was told "just to speak to you"). Instead of an apology for his staff's oversight, and his first comment was "I saw you just left a negative review and I'm upset." Then he blustered about "what negative reviews do to owners like me" and called me a liar for posting a review. Nothing like being badgered By a tall muscly "bro" to make you feel safe. Not to mention that his parting words were "I'm sorry you're upset." The car *is* very clean though. read more

Extreme Clean did an excellent job removing deep scratches from the paint of my Black 2018 Camry! While visiting family in EUG, we decided to take a trip to the Trestle Creek Falls. Unfortunately, I made a wrong turn and ended up on a forest service road that was, in no way, designed for a sedan. During the drive, I ended up with many deep scratches on both sides of the car. One detail shop in town suggested that the car might have needed to be wet-sanded while another suggested repainting it. My mother's mechanic does work with Extreme Clean and recommended that I contact Mike. Mike was able to get me in within 2r hours and his crew was able to remove every scratch from the paint for a reasonable price of $200.00. My car is professionally detailed every Sunday by a local shop near my house in Alameda, CA; it has never looked better. read more

My car (2013 Mazda 3) was always outside for several years. I only took it to car washes occasionally. There was green mold on the rubber molding, leaves and other parts of trees around the trunk. The headlights were foggy, as were the back lights. Now everything shines! The headlights are great!!! The backup lights have partial silver looking parts - they sparkle!!! Definitely looks like a new car inside and out. Their price was less than others I checked out - and they picked up and delivered the car! I had the full detail, inside and out and the headlights - so happy!!! They did a great job!!! read more

Extreme Clean did our back seat because of a stain we wanted removed. They did a great job with the seat so when we wanted a full detail we figured to use them again. I made the appointment and two days before I had to change it and it wasn't a problem. When I showed up the guy behind the desk didn't have my reservation, but said he could do it for $275, $100 less because our vehicle as pretty clean already. This was $50 more than what I was quoted, but showed him on his calendar the quote he couldn't find. Usually a full detail is wash/wax with good wax. Vacuum and shampoo all seats and carpet, or detail leather. Clean all windows and such..... But this didn't happen, bugs splatter was still on the windows, inside glass wasn't cleaned, no shampoo at all in any of the seats. Cleaner splatter on the dash, and not vacuumed at all. I actually left this place and went home to use my own vacuum!! The car before me left without their floor mats and I asked where mine were they had to "look for them"??? Worst thing is I took everything out of our vehicle before I dropped it off, left a $5 bill folded in the glove box, it wasn't there when I picked it up. Tells you everything you need to know. I don't recommend this place after being burned like this and will be searching for another one that pays attention to detail. read more

Unfortunately I bought two Living Social vouchers for my business vehicles. The saying "You get what you pay for" would have been better than what I received for my money: NOTHING. I scheduled my appointment several days in advance and when I arrived (early) I found the shop was closed and no one was around! There was one boat behind the gate, but not an employee to be found. The office was dark, the gates were closed....it was deserted. I waited almost half and hour. It became obvious that they simply did not want to work on a Saturday. I drove by later in the morning and they were still closed (normal business hours begin at 9:00 am? Not even close.) Apparently they figured they already had my money since it was a Living Social voucher, so they had no intention of providing the service. Living Social and Extreme Clean have refused to refund my money. After my experience and reading the other reviews there is absolutely no way I would trust them with my vehicles. Instead I will warn as many people as I can about this "business" and the fraud they have perpetrated on myself....and probably many others in our community. There are other detail shops in town that deserve your business... Extreme Clean is absolutely NOT one of them. read more

Amazing work! Went above and beyond my expectations, and for such a great price. I left feeling like I had a brand new car. I brought in my destroyed car from years and years of camping and hiking and relentlessly loading my muddy dog from the Oregon sloshy trails. Let me just say, I really use my car and the insides and outsides were really showing it. So I brought it in for a cleaning somewhat skeptical of what could really be done to the dog fur mobile. What I didn't expect was the brand new feeling on the inside, but what I really didn't expect was how they went above and beyond and completely fixed my bumpers from all the dings they had. (My criss-cross band-aids stuck all over the bumpers must have been too much for them to handle, and so they went ahead and fixed them up for me.) I'll admit, they were quite an eye-sore. The staff here was great! Someone threw up in my car over the weekend and it just seeped into my floors. I came and got a special on a full detailing. My car looked great, but it still had that lovely smell. So I called this morning and they took it in and rushed it. So, five stars for their customer service! I'm so impressed with Extreme Clean! There aren't many places like this in Eugene--you either get a $200 detail, or a $10 gas station tunnel wash that is likely to induce flashbacks to Final Destination 3. I showed up at 5:45, just fifteen minutes before closing, with a VW Beetle that hadn't been vacuumed in over a year. Although I was sure I'd be turned away, the crew happily washed the inside and outside of my car in about half an hour, and it was spotless. Given how great these guys were with a basic wash on my car, I would have zero hesitation trusting them with a full detail. My only suggestion is that they could use a larger waiting area, because there was only one small couch which was occupied while I was there. However, I ended up chatting the half hour away with the owner, Mike, and you can tell that he really cares about his customers, his employees, and the quality of his service--and it shows! My Beetle felt brand new, and I'll definitely be back the next time I need a car wash. Thanks, guys! read more

Extreme Clean has done work for me in the past so I took my wife's car in recently for an interior detail. Not satisfied at all - seats and carpets were not cleaned well and they completely missed areas of the plastic surfaces. They used to be good but I probably won't go back after this last experience --------- Katrina, thanks for reaching out. I explained some of this in the message I left. Still, after the redo - Seats were not vacuumed well when they were cleaned so they have water marks all over them. Cup holders in the console still have a little crud in the bottom of them and there is junk from before the detail on the backside of the flap that folds down from the ashtray/stash compartment. The carpet still looked dirty but I know this carpet is tough to clean thoroughly. In the message, I said that I probably won't be bringing my truck in because I'm pretty picky and want it done better than the Subie was done but that I'm not as picky about the Escort I'm getting cleaned for resale. I'm ok with taking the time to bring the Subie in again if we can make a list of what needs done and be assured that it will be done right. Mike should have my number from the message. I'll update the review when we get it back. Thanks again for your attempt to make it right -------- I spoke with Mike and agreed to take a different car in for an interior detail. "Extreme Clean"...that must be a joke right? I have an SUV and took it in for an exterior wash and interior vacuum with basic cleaning. After the cleaning was finished, they pulled my car around it had obvious spots that didn't get touched on the exterior. When I opened my door it literally looked like they did nothing besides clean the windows. I would call this a half a$$ed job for sure! I was so frustrated when I left, that I didn't bother even complaining. I took my car straight to a drive through car wash, which is what I should have done in the first place. Unfortunately I had to do the vacuuming myself. After all was said and done I think I ended up spending $25-30 at Extreme Clean and another $10 to take it through another car wash (not including my free vacuuming labor), not a cost effective way to clean your car! To sum it up: Don't waste your time or money! If I could have given zero stars I would have. read more
