The owner is amazing and opened up the shop for her son who has autism. They support, train, and empower young adults with diverse learning differences, such as autism, Down syndrome and sight/hearing impairments. They have mugs, keychains, sweatshirts, and so much more! The next space is where you can order food and drinks and also pay. They have a wide variety of teas to choose from. In the back there is a beautiful room where you could sit to enjoy your drink or pastry. There was a class going on upstairs when I was there and I thought that was so cool. Everyone is so sweet. I look forward to coming back. There is parking along the side of the street. You can also park in the parking lot that is next to Extra soecial teas.

Really really good organic black tea that the brown sugar boba and vanilla complimented really well. Plus I had the best gluten free brownie ever. As a gluten free person I've never felt this included at a café or restaurant that I can freely choose anything I want to eat from the menu at such affordable prices. I had a very relaxing time in their outdoor dining space with my boyfriend. This place is a blessing and an important safe space for everyone living in and visiting the GB community.

First the ambience was lovely, but air was too warm and stuffy. The cookies and baked goods are in a self-serve cabinet, many shelves low down, which my toddler immediately got into. This should not be an option, and just in general baked goods should be served in a sanitary way, not in a self-serve case. They did look good though. But most importantly to me, the bubble tea.... I asked for "less sweet," but it was still so grossly sweet that I had to throw most of it away ($8 plus tip.) The tapioca balls themselves were much sweeter than most I've had. They were also still warm, which I've never experienced, and too soft on the outside but too chewy on the inside. We were there early in the morning so maybe they weren't ready yet? Anyway... please make the tea less sweet. I'll try it again and ask for "no sweet" since I think the boba will make it sweet enough anyway, but I'm concerned with their sugar level it still may be way more sweet than I'm looking for. I have had many other bobas that are far less sweet. Also, not quick. Good luck! Will try again later.

The gyoza was kinda hard and did not taste very fresh. I mean it is definitely frozen packaged ones. Honestly I know that everything as just store bought and made. The portions were not very large. Orders this chicken curry bento and it had about two little chunks of chicken and a lot of onions and some sauce. This was self serve kinda place, but if you needed an extra bowl or anything it was very hard to get. Place is older and tables are never cleaned. I had two wipes with me and had to just wipe down the table and it was honestly pretty gross. Sad to say that you are better off going to a super market and buy a ramen pack and cook it at home. Would probably taste better.

Since then we have been back regularly, especially when the weather calls for a warm meal, and have introduced many friends and relatives who were equally thrilled with the find. The menu is limited but two of the options are vegan and everything is cooked to order. The broth in the vegan tonkatsu is aromatic and flavorful. The pork tonkatsu is a big hit with the non vegan crowd. They also have a wonderful Asian market with sesame oil and lots of hard to find spices and ingredients. And mochi!

I liked that they don't load it up with ice. I hate when they do that (looking at you Starbucks !). The taste was super light but it was refreshing and dairy free. Hubs got the coconut one and that was really good! It's mostly coconut which is great but they add evaporated milk which is why I went with the fruit tea. If they would make it dairy free I would be ALL OVER IT! The taste I had was super yummy. I am so happy to have a boba place near home and I hope they have great success!!! I think next time I'll talk to them about making that coconut drink completely dairy free, it was much better than what I ordered. The women at the counter were super nice and friendly. Not what was expected, but not bad…read more Missus is on a dumpling kick, so we looked for some of the best dumplings we could find locally. Found this well reviewed shop close by, so we dropped in. The inside is very sparse, lots of stuff strewn around. It was lacking a lot of polish, but it didn't seem too sketchy. We ordered from the nice lady an order of dumplings, pirogies, and a couple of bao buns. Price was good, and food took about 15 minutes to cook but we did some trekking locally to waste time, We got our food, took some pics and dug in. The pirogies were for me, and I must say that they were not pirogies. It was mashed potatoes with cheese in a dumpling wrapper. The dumpling wrappers were fresh, but the dough was not what I expected. The potato and cheese was pretty good though. Didn't use a farmers cheese but did some type of white cheese. The bao were generic. They used the same filling as the dumplings as the bao filling. It really needed a sauce inside to help differentiate it from the dumplings. We also got a black sesame bao, but the inside was very watery and not appetizing at all. So we threw that one away. The owner is a very nice lady, and she's working hard to keep her place busy. It's clear that the stresses of the day keep her strained, but she does mean well enough. For those in the area, it's not a drive to destination. It's pretty good dumplings in a run down shop with an owner fighting to stay afloat. I would recommend going here if you want to support local, and don't mind a bit of grit. The dumplings are fresh, the pirogies are interesting renditions, and they do boba tea.
