Most of the products here are high-end or of the craft variety and are very reasonably priced. BJ frequently has beer, wine, and liquor tastings and great specials on new products, many of which are hard to find anywhere else. My favorite is the build-your-own-six-pack from his wall of beers and ciders. Delish.

Not the most extensive selection, there are maybe six doors of random craft beers, lots of Leinies and Mikes. The layout of the store is cramped. All these reviews rave about the owner, which seemed a little odd since they didn't say much about the actual store. I'd been a few years ago and it was your typical liquor store. The new owner seems to have cleaned it up, there was incense burning and the clerk was friendly enough. Score is 3.5 rounded up.

However, under new management this place has totally turned around. They have a MUCH better selection, more items in stock, and they support local Chicagoland breweries and the like. Staff is fantastic and knowledgeable, friendly with locals, and they certainly gave our community back a sense of a properly run local business. Cheers to their continued success!
