Word of warning if you need a storage unit look in early spring or late fall so that the Wake students don't have a chance to snag every one of them! They have a decent sized loading area out front. The only down side it is sloped on both sides, if you don't park exactly in the middle you have to worry about your cart rolling away. They have about six cart options inside so you can easily find something that works to carry all your belongings in. The manager and front dest staff are friendly and are happy to help. They do lock checks every Monday so if you forget to lock your unit they have you covered. They are located behind the Total Wine and More and IFC Chefsmart.

She also spent extra time with me on the "move in" day and helped me move my stuff from one unit to another. The location is slightly hidden behind Carrabba's and Total Wine. There is a deep slope leading to the entrance. When I asked why such a slope, she told me it was to ensure there was no flooding. She explained it well, I just don't understand landscaping. The hallways are always clean, no funny odors, and I feel safe keeping my stuff there long term with the climate controlled units.

Our call was handled efficiently and they were able to accommodate us by renting a 40' pull-through space for our cargo trailer. We were able to head directly over and complete the necessary paperwork. We gained access to the gate and our trailer was safely secured. This was a temporary solution for us and it worked well. The woman who manages the office is really nice and can get you set up pretty quickly. I wish they would clean out the units before you moved yourself in. When I moved my stuff in, there were already quite a few spider inhabitants enjoying the space. I get it is an outside unit so there will be bugs but it would be nice if they would at least sweep it out and remove all the spider webs before someone moves their stuff in. It is convenient to get to because it is only a minute or two off the highway. You can access the units pretty much until 9pm or so everyday. All the units are outside and drive-up which does make it perfect if you need to load and unload things multiple times a month.

Well. Everything was alright for awhile. The following are a list of things I didnt like…read more 1. After having my storage unit I went one day ti put something in my unit. Idk what happened, but the door was ofd thw track like someone had backed I to the door, or puahed it off the traxk trying to get in. 2. I went to my unit on a Wednesday to start clearing it out. Once I opened the gate, the door never shut back. I went to the office and let them know. I came back on that Friday to finish clearing out my unit and the door was still open. Side note. If the lady who walked up to me while I was attempting to load my car worked at AAA. Maybe you should announce yourself instead of randomly walking up to the person who is unloading their belongings and knows the main gate is broken. I thought you were trying to rob me. Yet she claims to have great customer service skills. Give me a break. I will never rent from here ever again and I will make sure none of my friends of family do either.
