Now for the bad. They ruined my sofa, I thought they put furniture on top of padding so it doesn't get grease on the fabric? Black grease on the side of the sofa. Second thing, they were suppose to bring a 3 man team and ended up with 2. More time it takes, more money. At the end, at bill paying time they took off $25 for the third person not showing! Thirdly, they sure chat up with my hubby. Hmmm, more time, more money. The time sure stretched out. Finally, that I know of right now, they put boxes wherever! I clearly had each box marked as to which room it goes. They would also ask me, I finally started saying "what's the box say?" Moving is stressful as it is, I would know, I've done it every two years most of my life (military). This was pretty stressful. I also tipped generously because I know moving "stuff" is not easy. When I move again, because I get restless in one place, I may have to find a different moving company.

They are able to take furniture apart and put it back together while other movers say, "No way!". They did a great job packing up my 2 PODS containers before I moved from FL to NC. They did such a great job that I probably didn't even need the second container. They disassembled my bed and glass desk and wrapped everything up so well. Nothing was broken or damaged after the long interstate move. I'm sad I can't use them anymore because I am NC. Such a great group of guys!

Although the guys were super nice and friendly they weren't too knowledgeable when it came to putting my things back together. Adjustable bed they moved is now lifting up on side so it's no longer stable, dining room table wasn't fully secured with the screws but they did an amazing job moving my furniture from the old house upstairs to down without messing up the walls too much. I ended up paying $930 for a 5 hour move spanning about 7 miles apart from one another. Needless to say I'm disappointed. We had 3 bedrooms and a full living room set, a dining room table and a grill. Beware of current pricing as the prices increased significantly per hour from my original quote from the owner. I wouldn't write them off but I would definitely be more aware of what I'm getting myself into the next time around. I paid almost the same amount for an out of state move. I just moved from Jacksonville to Daytona and used D2D movers. They were priced in the middle of…read morethe 5 quotes I received but I liked the presidents (Eric) attitude and delivery of information. When the move happened the actual moved were very nice and respectful and did a good job. Unfortunately, Eric under estimated the size of the truck needed. One the day of the move the truck was filled but there was a lot of stuff still in the garage. The movers left it but Eric (the president )said he will send another truck to get it. What he did was bring his pick up truck over to load things up. I obviously wasn't at the Jacksonville home so didn't see what was left and as it turns out it was a lot. I have traveled back to Jacksonville 23 times to load up what was not moved but unfortunately I still have one item at the house that I cannot move. Last, the ONLY items damaged or broker were by the president. He showed up late to my house on the Friday afternoon of my move. He was obviously unset that he had to do the actual moving of items and was very disrespectful. He didnt realize I was in the garage when he dropped a cabinet onto a box of breakable items. He went to just leave it but then I walked over ... not even an apoligy!!! So what would I say? Make sure they move everything and if they don't and say they will send another truck, you need to leave someone behind to make sure they mover everything. Also, if the president says he will be helping with the move be ready to have items broken!! I am only giving them a 2 because the actual day labor guys were really good!
