I'm old. I shouldn't be laying floor. Age and wisdom be damned, I'm saving money. Let's put down some flooring. I needed a table saw to rip a hand full of boards. Taylor's website listed one. I requested status on their website (they'd reply via email). Being a bit impatient, I just called them. The gent that answered was friendly and very helpful. "I'm looking at it right now, let me check...nope, it's not rented". He then asks how long I need it. I'm calling on a Saturday morning at 10. I want it until Monday. He offers their deal, rent after noon on Saturday and pay only one day rental if returned by Monday at 9. Sold. The rental process was simple. They helped load it into my truck. The saw was very high quality, like new really. I ripped about 6 boards, but it saved time and aggravation. For an old guy, every little bit helps. Job done on Sunday night, saw returned on Monday by 9. I can't say enough about how satisfied I am. The only knock is that their website said the saw was $35. The email I got indicating it was available said $73, and I ended up paying $62. That's confusing, but not worth a deduction in stars. Andy's Taylor was a go-to rental company for our recent wedding in St. Augustine. Our venue, the Sanchez House, required us to bring outside vendors and highly recommended Andy's Taylor as being reliable. We looked to them to rent our chairs, tables, linens, tent, and heaters. We arranged a meeting with Amy who assists with coordinating wedding rentals and she was such a blessing. She helped us understand how much of the various items we needed and what options were available. It definitely put our mind at ease. Amy shared with us how other couples had laid out the Sanchez House for weddings and worked to map out our wedding setup. She created a 3-D floor plan that was helpful for us and our other vendors to work with. I was concerned about the cold weather for our wedding, but Amy advised me that we could add on a tent and tent heater the week of the wedding if necessary. We did just that, because it actually lightly snowed in St. Augustine on our big day. Amy also recommended our wedding coordinator whom we absolutely loved. Andy's Taylor staff was familiar with the venue and setup on Friday before the wedding on Saturday. We were able to use the rentals for the entirety of the weekend, which is a huge bonus since we had events Friday through Sunday at the Sanchez House. On the day of the wedding one of the outside heaters stopped functioning. Andy's didn't have a replacement available on our chilly day; however, they refunded the charge following our event. Note that they charge an additional 3% for Credit Card payments. We just planned for payment in check, but it was a little inconvenient for payment. It is required that renters break down and stack chairs/tables as instructed or an extra fee is charged per item. the absolute worst. do not rent from this company. they do not deliver what they promise, they ruined my event and still had the nerve to charge me full price, after i spent $400 and hours of my own time trying to fix their mistakes hours before my event started. stay away!!!!!!!!! read more
