They showed me the unit that was reserved for me, a 5x5, slightly inside, but easily accessible. Unfortunately I need to revise my previous review. We have closed our account with ESS due in part to their constantly increasing their rent. We started at $97 then $119 then $127 lastly at $137 for a 5x10 over as many years. I understand making a profit but a 50% increase in 4 years?!??No thanks! Better off downsizing and removing this cost completely. read more

This is by far the cleanest storage place I've seen. The girl that works the store portion lives onsite which made me feel very comfortable. The little store also had everything I needed last minute to help me pack. The only negative thing I can find to say is that the entrance is right after a stoplight with no turning lane so if you are coming in with a trailer, you slow down that intersection just a bit. This is the best storage you could ever rent space from! Jewel is the face of the front desk and she manages it with enthusiasm and cheer! It is always extremely clean - the front parking and yard area, inside the office, and also all of the unit areas inside the gate - the entire lot. Just leased a 10 X10 unit here yesterday. Process was quick ( thanks to Maria) and I feel that it is an extremely safe.

I really enjoyed working with Jewel. Although the prices were a little higher than I usually pay, Jewel made the process super easy. The site is really clean, and I feel like the employees are really on my team! The only downfall I would say is that you are forced to purchase the insurance, which ranges from an extra 13-25 per month. So on top of the prices stated online, there is an additional monthly fee. I think they should advertise the price with insurance included, so that customers dont feel like there is a hidden fee. read more

Don't even waste your time moving in this location !!! jule the on site manager is a horrible person that has a stick up her butt and takes her insecurities out on her customers that she thinks she can pick on. i maybe disabled and may have more time on my hands as i'm in between surgeries and may visit my storage more frequently than other people but it gives this horrible and rude individual no right to pick on me. i moved in last sunday and cannot wait for this my first month to end so i can move on and not deal with this horrible manager. i asked for a refund so i could move out today but was denied both on the store level and corporate level. mark who i initially trusted and signed up with is very professional and should definitely be this companies better choice as location manager and at least for that one day i felt happy about my decision to rent the unit at this facility but jule is way far from professional and will treat you like a little child smacking her hands together being both rude and disrespectful to her customers. extra space corporate should be ashamed of having such a horrible location manager at this location. i'll be dealing with public storage again from next month where the managers are way more professional and don't go around picking on their customers because of their lame insecurities like horrible and rude jule. i feel sorry for mark who is an excellent person and employee that has to work under the rule of this tyrant..... when he should rightfully be this locations on site manager. too bad and just so sad ..... dealt with public storage for years and sheila at their san ramon location is an angel and will treat you with respect ...a concept that jule at this location has no clue about.... if you want to be a happy renter do not waste your time with this location....but if you enjoy misery please ask for jule.... she is definitely happy to oblige. i refuse to acknowledge this crappy manager as jewel because a jewel is precious and that is the furtherest meaning that this individual represents.... rude and crap would be this managers all in your business demeanor..... she will straight up call you a liar straight to your face ( the customers) and really thinks it is acceptable.....it really is not !!! read more
