Fran gave an estimate, both cost and time, and honored both. She is efficient and easy to work with. Fran cleaned out an elderly relative's house in preparation for a sale. It was not a hoarding situation, but there was a large workshop with some heavy workbenches and large tools. Fran's crew took care of it all. The house and detached garage were left immaculate. I live several hours away, and could not be present, and Fran kept me in the loop with texts and photos. I cannot recommend Fran highly enough. If you need the services that Fran provides, do not hesitate to hire her. You'll be glad you did.

On 11/07/16 my furniture finally arrived in Florida after leaving PA on 10/24. The driver, Mosely, and his assistant were professional, polite, and very pleasant. Only 1 small item was damaged. I emailed Sam to file a claim for that item, but never heard back. It isn't worth the time to stress over this company an further. From what should have been a 3-7 business day delivery took almost 11 business days, (my delivery was at 6:45pm) but that isn't as bad as other reviews I have read. I closed my case with the BBB after my delivery and only because there was no significant damage. I still would not recommend this company.

Al got me in on a Saturday afternoon asking his guys to put me on the end of the day, making a short Saturday a long full Day for them! Some of my stuff was going to storage and some to families house. They were very helpful understanding and patient while I sorted through everything and helped me pack all mine and my kids things! When we got to my families home, the guys removed a medical bed out of my grandparents spare room and into their basement for storage. The second time they moved me was picking up from storage and my families house into a new place. Everything was placed into the designated rooms for me so I didn't have to swap all my furniture and boxes around myself. I really appreciated this, being a woman with children, this made it so easy for me to unpack and get settled! They also put the medical bed back and put it back together once my property was cleared from the space. My 3rd move with them was about 4 years later (December 2023) into a 3rd floor apartment in winter time. The company was on time, fast and handled my things with care. Even moving some of the furniture around when I changed my mind on placement so I didn't scratch my new hardwood floors! Kurry Ken and Mike are Great! You can definitely tell this is a family owned business by how genuine the workers are, they handle your property like it is their own. My bed wouldn't fit into my new place, Mike disassembled it in the yard in the cold and brought it inside and put the whole thing back together for me! I will forever use this company. It wasn't fancy, but it was sustainable and full of character. Most importantly, it was run by people who cared--like Jerome, a longtime manager who knew customers by name and asked about their families. That sense of connection is gone now. After two corporate ownership changes, the building is run by Store Space. The rates went from being stable for years to sudden biannual increases. The new lease allows unlimited rate hikes every six months without specifying how much--and if you don't sign, your belongings can be removed. There's no loyalty, no relationship, and no accountability. Since January 2025, the price had increased every three months, by $40, $20, and by July $100. I don't want to pay the cost of a mortgage to store household items. There have been price, address, and phone number discrepancies in the lease I signed a new lease in 2023, when I upgraded to a larger unit. I hadn't received an increase in payment notice since May 2023, which stated an $11 increase. As of May 31 2025 a new notice of $100 increase effective July 1, 2025. The local staff, especially Lisa, is kind and helpful, but corporate refuses to communicate meaningfully. They've ignored discrepancies in billing and don't follow their own lease terms. Store Space isn't BBB accredited in upstate NY, and while they have an "A" rating, 83 complaints have been filed, with only 17 resolved. That tells you a lot. I believe in storage solutions that reuse space, not destroy green ones. I also believe customers deserve respect and fair treatment. This company has fallen short on both. Use your voice and choose wisely.
