Also, the manager, Terry, responded to my emailed via their site inquiry within hours of their opening on Monday, I had emailed on Sunday night. He went way out of his way to help accommodate my schedule, even let me come by with 15 minutes notice in my work truck to set it all up, and kept it to the point as I was at work. Some places push extras on you to nickel and dime you to death, not here. Offered, yes. Pushed, absolutely not. I really have no more to say as what was promised was delivered, no need for any interaction at all. Very happy with my choice to try out a smaller operation, it's a large site I just mean smaller as in not on every other corner like some brands. Only con for me is that there are no electric outlets anywhere either in or outside of the unit, maybe the larger ones have them.

I was starting at the end of my driveway where the snow plows deposited wet, heavy slush. I observed a sanitation truck come down Bruynswick Rd in the Gardiner, New Paltz area on 12/5/2024 @ approximately 11:30 am & stopped across the street from me, the gentleman got out of his truck & proceeded to pick up my neighbors garbage pail out of the snow that obviously had been knocked over by a snow plow. He then continued & picked up all the garbage that was knocked out of the pail & cleaned it all up. I thanked him for the EXTRA EFFORT he performed. I wish I asked for his name, but I asked God to bless him. Most sanitation companies wouldn't get out of their trucks anymore as they have an arm on their truck to do the dirty work & if your pail was knocked over by either the wind, a bear or a snow plow, they leave it where it lies an continue down the road. Kudos to LeMela Sanitation & the gentleman who went ABOVE & BEYOND his duties. I didn't ask for his name, but he seemed he was Latino, I sure hope his management see's this review & recognizes him for a JOB WELL DONE. When my wife comes home from work, I am going to suggest changing our company to LeMela Sanitation. I had a under ground propane tank installed by Star Gas. They recommended RF-Scapes to do the…read moreexcavating. Ryan did a great job digging the hole. No damage to the area around where he dug. Also the area was cleaned up. Leaving only some light raking and putting down grass seeds. Star Gas had two man on the job as soon as the tank was in the ground it was hooked up and tested. they had the tank filled and back in service with in a half hour. We were down total of 4 hours great job guys thank you.

Tom returned our call the same day and set up an appointment that was convenient for us. He called to confirm the appointment the night before and showed up on time the day of the appointment. Sadly we were desperate, because every company we called weren't available. The place we chose to storage our furniture, while waiting for our new residence to be available gave us this company as a recommendation, which they now regret. It took a few phone calls until I was able to reach the owner of this company Tom. He came out to give us an estimate and appeared plleasant & professional at the time. He arrived on the day of our move on time with four workers. we had coffee and donuts waiting for them when they arrived. At the end of their job we tipped each one including the owner quite generously. They were extremely fast which was a plus I thought at the time. They moved us into a storage unit and I asked if they were satisfied with us as customers would they move us from Storage to our new apartment in October to which Tom agreed. We gave him two dates a couple of days apart and he said he'd reserve both for us. As this move approached my husband and I called Tom and left two messages not to hear back. I then emailed him and he responded he would definitely call me the next day to schedule the move. He never contacted us. As a result we had to extend our stay at the hotel we was staying in as well as extend our storage time. Both extremely costly. We then had to begin looking for another moving company to replace this one. We are very fortunate to have found a responsible company that charged us $400 less than Tom and his crew did. When they began to remove the boxes that were in the front of the storage compartment, covering up damaged furniture ( strategically placed), I witnessed damage to every piece of my two-year-old bedroom set. Now we understand why Tom never called us back. He was probably aware of the damage done to the furniture leaving our old apartment as it was being put into storage. He stated later on that he suggested we check all items before they left, they never suggested this, and to be honest we had no reason to suspect anything because I have never had an issue anytime I moved in the past. This furniture came from the furniture store directly to our home and never left our apartment until it was brought to storage by A-Z Movers. The pictures of the furniture were taken in the storage unit. after attempting to contact him via phone and not getting a reply we emailed him. He email back stating that his company and his men never damaged our furniture. He did not offer an apology nor did he apologize for Inconveniencing us in the way he did. We sent two other emails suggesting he send somebody out to see what they could do with the furniture so that we would not have to take legal actions. He never responded to this. As a result its very obvious that this man does not care about his customers belongings or their feelings. Thank goodness we found an excellent company that were reliable, respondible & professional. Thank God for Economy Movers!! If you value your belongings and can't afford new furniture, stay away from A to Z Movers. We have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau against them, & we have begun a legal action against them as well. We do not know when this will actually make it to court, so we felt it to be responsible and notify the public to do themselves a favor and stay away from A to Z Movers.
