I only needed a mattress moved and was willing to pay the full amount, but went ahead and figured it out myself when by 8:50, no one was there and I needed to leave my house to get dinner. Mike then refused to get the mover a ride home -- he didn't have a car -- so I gave the poor guy a ride back his house. I was going to pay for a 2 person team, and was sent one person three hours past the end of their arrival window, by a manager who tried to refuse me service. I'll be trying to get my deposit back.

Over the weeks, we went to setup more rooms, more furniture, etc. A LOT of my furniture has new scratches and dents that I didn't notice from a quick glance. Definitely make sure to confirm your appointment though, they accidentally double booked and did not show up on time, but when I called to ask where they were they were still able to fit me in on the same day (I wasn't on a tight schedule so this was fine with me). During my first move they damaged the hardwood floors in my house and tried not to say anything in order to get away with it. They also put huge scrapes into my walls. They were able to move the stuff out of my house but they were not able to move it into my new house. This was a safe and they were given the weight (weight was actually over exaggerated so the actual weight was less than what they thought it was) and took the job. They did not bring a crew that could move it out properly and they could not move it into my new place. We agreed he would hold onto my safe until I could get a professional to move it. I paid him half the cost of the original deal on the contingency that he would help me out with the new company since he had failed to do the job and damaged my house. I schedule with the professionals and tell Tony that I have a move in window of 12pm-5pm. He agrees and acknowledges that. He then takes a job at 12pm and I have to pay extra for the professionals to go to him to get my stuff. His favorite phrase throughout this entire encounter was "not my problem". I would advise you to let that sink in when thinking about if you want to use him as a mover. Ultimately my move cost me more than double my original cost because of his actions. When I got my safe it was chipped and scratched all over. Tony refuses to get back in contact with me so I have had no other choice but to bring him to court for civil damages. These guys are beyond amateur. Do not risk your property with them.

Right? WRONG. Issue #1: The movers were supposed to be at my old complex by 3:00PM - the owner Eldolia called and immediately apologized, stating that the movers were going to be late because they had left a balance on the rental truck that they were currently picking up. I don't even know why they were picking the truck up at 3 on the dot considering that they were supposed to ARRIVE at my old complex by that time, but anyways... she offered to give credit for the service and asked if we could reschedule for Monday. I told her that I would need this to be done today and she came up with an idea: If you could cover the balance of the truck, I will take that amount off of your service. But you would need to send the balance via CashApp - that sounds like a red flag, but I just went along with it because they are less than 20 minutes away. Did they arrive at 3:30PM? NO, THEY ARRIVED AT 4:30! Issue #2: I hired THREE people to load and unload the truck with my belongings... why are only TWO people working?? Rob did an amazing job and you would think that because he was an older gentleman he would be moving boxes a lot less, but he did it MOST OF IT; Will did pretty good as well even though he almost forgot to resemble my couch. The third person (Eldolia knows who this is and hopefully is not working there anymore) that was supposed to be helping the other two workers was more interested in having conversation than actually doing the job... Issue #3: About 70% of the loading was finished and all of the sudden 40 minutes went by... because someone had called the cops on my movers which is out of their control, but it delayed everything. It did take them a long time to move boxes, and I'm positive that it would've been completed quicker if ALL THREE workers were working. Rob was apologetic and even acknowledged that only 2 out of 3 of them were working. He also had to leave early to do another job so I was practically down to 1.5 workers.. Issue #4: When they arrived at my new complex, the third person (who Eldolia described as "the company's best driver") hit a handicapped sign in the parking lot. When he finally had no choice but to actually work, he was just lackadaisical - placing my shoe case upside-down in my room, placing my tv and tv stand to the side in the bedroom when I told him to place it directly in front of my bed, throwing my hangers in the bathroom, and placing boxes upside-down. Then when the service was "completed" (this was around 10:30 PM) they asked if I could CashApp the remaining balance to the owner to put gas in the truck instead of paying through the official app? Absolutely not. Plus, I was overcharged because the workers incorrectly deducted the credit and amount based on Rob leaving, and it took them 6 hours to do a service that could've been completed in 3.5-4 hours. I spoke with Eldolia the next business day, told her about the terrible service, and asked about a proper partial reimbursement, to which she responded that she will work on getting this done... BUT SHE NEVER CALLED BACK. TLDR: DON'T USE CLASSIC MOVERS. ETA: They also forgot to one of my barstools in the lobby of my old complex, I found it when going back the next day to clean my old apartment. :)

Which is fine, if it doesn't change my quote, but what I was charged ended up being expodentially higher than what I anticipated based on the quote. Especially since I moved a majority of my items before they arrived. I had most of the items already ready and took apart and put together my bed itself. I even assisted helping move what I had left by loading the smaller items in my car. I moved most of the items before they even arrived so they had really only had the heavy/bigger items that I couldn't take myself. There were also 30 minutes I couldn't even find the movers, even after calling them. I had moved 6 minutes down the road but it took them over 30 minutes to arrive. I had driven back, double checked they got everything, locked everything up, came back to the new place, and still waited another 15 minutes. So they were off somewhere unknown to me. This also lowered my trust in their service. When I asked for an itemized receipt so I could double check how I was being charged, I never heard from them again. If you do decide to use this company, you should know that the quality is excellent because they take care in how your items are moved, their professionalism and communication is great but you may hear them complaining if items are heavy. I think the funniest comment I heard from them was "Everything is heavy Up in this Crib". I would recommend ensuring someone is there the entire time to ensure you track when they leave and when they arrive at the new location and have them itemize the receipt before sending you the bill. A vague receipt won't do to make sure you aren't overcharged.
