A kind employee offered to watch my dog while I went to go buy food. From this act alone, I can infer that the customer service is awesome. Much love and I hope this business remains peaceful and beneficial to all. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I got bait and switched when I spoke to Mellissa on the phone and when I came in the next morning(with Andrea) it was $10 more monthly(over $60 when you look at it) which with someone with a fixed income and limited money. This place I left disappointed. I highly recommend going and calling Dollar Self Storage. Best service ever and was $20 cheaper. You won't regret it only 5 mins away. (Talk to Irene say I sent you!) There's a response from the customer service below but I am not wasting my time calling it won't change anything. They have the information. I was quoted with Mellissa $88.20 that included set up, lock and "insurance" after $59.20 monthly. All these "online deals" and "1st month free" is a scam. Also look out for the hidden charges. "Insurance" " set up feee" don't waste your time. read more

Extra Space Storage - Worst place ever! Thumbs down! - Self Storage Near Me - Pico Rivera, California

My first review was followed up by an Emily s. I called the number that she directed me to and there's no such person there this is obviously a canned answer which is to make them look good. Do not trust this company if you're disabled. I'm a disabled person and they won't even accommodate me. I will say this The guy Miguel at the Pico Rivera location was cool, no problem with him. According to company protocol he could not help me out. If you're looking for a really good storage using Nova I've been with them for 30 years never had a problem. read more

Been renting a storage unit 10x10 for about 4 months $90 + $20 insurance , and now they are making me pay double $180 + $20

I rented about 4 months ago and I didn't want to leave a review until I had some time with this location. So far the service is great and very informative with everything. The property is always clean when I come by and carts are in the lift. Thank you so much Alex and Kevin. Keep up the great work! read more

Alex and Kevin really professional and easy to work with. Storage facility is open until 10pm makes it very convenient to have access to your property. My brother rents there and recommended that I do the same. I will also recommend to friends and family. read more

This place is the worst. Over $10,000 of DJ equipment fishing equipment and they even stole my son's toys was stolen out of my unit and only got back about $1,000 and then then a year later they were painting and the only thing I have worth a value which was my bed had a bunch of overspray on it I first started paying $72 then I went up to 185 the people who worked there are absolutely rude and try keeping my stuff hostage giving me the hardest time to get my stuff back take your stuff somewhere else with all the money this place makes they can't afford a security guard that's absolutely insane I forgot the guys mean who's just an absolute jerk read more

ROOF LEAKING INTO UNIT AND COCKROACHES! Maybe it's my fault for still renting here but it's ridiculous to be paying over 200 dollars to find out the roof is damaged and leaks rainwater into our unit and that there are cockroaches. My proof is attached. Please do not rent here. read more

1st time renting out a storage space, was simple and easy, great help from the employees, highly recommended!

Payed for it over the internet but can't get access till I go on Monday. So you made it an option where you take my money but then I have to wait two days until I get access. read more

Do not rent from this Company, they are the Worst! Only interested in making Money and will Squeeze you for more money. I only had the storage unit for 2 months and are already are raising the price!!! Forgetting we are in a Pandemic and we are still recuperating from this Bad Economy. Greedy, Greedy, GREEDY! I will never Rent from this Company again and I need to Warn others. Keep your money or you will loose it in a Big Way. The units are poorly maintained and NOT worth your money. I am giving this company 1 Star and too bad they don't have a Zero Star!!! Which is Exactly what they deserve. Stay away and rent with another Storage Company you will get a Better Value for your Money. I am living Proof, they will "Steal Your Money"... read more

Just finished moving out my items and the service was good. The hours are extended so that really helped with my business. I have recommended lots to Extra Space and I will continue to do so because they took care of me. Thank you staff, Emma read more

They will raise your rent $100 bucks from one month to the next. How the fuck do you expect your customers to be ok with this? I understand that rent goes up for almost everything, but a full on $100 dollar rent increase in one month? Fuck you guys seriously! read more

DECEPTIVE PRICING Expect a 15% increase in your monthly bill after 6 _and_ 12 months to "keep up with the rising costs associated with providing top-notch service and a clean, secure facility." (see uploaded photos). My 5x10 started at $32, then got jacked up to $37 after 6 months, and then again up to $42 after 12 months. Cmon guys, you're not fooling anyone...stop pretending it's "from time to time" and be upfront about your pricing and maybe your customers won't be so bitter about it. I mean, if your operating expenses decreased...would you reduce all your customers' monthly rates?? Other than the deceptive pricing scheme, the facility is clean and secure and the staff is friendly. Tip: 2nd floor storage along the outside wall gets HOT...so hot they deformed my snowboarding goggles! read more

David Was Great! Service Was A1! Rent here with David! And Kevin The Store Manager! They're the best!

I'll keep it simple. Do Not Rent here. Prices are low, security is not a priority at this facility. All you need is your code for entry to the grounds, the buildings have easy access to anyone entering, including jumping fences. read more

Nice clean and easy to access with their digital access, one of the easier storage units to have

Came here from Public Storage due to them not assisting me and showing me poor customer service. When I arrived here I was greeted by Kevin and he was able to help me and show me different options. I decided to rent here. Only thing I didn't like was that they didn't offer truck delivering service. read more

This is my second time using this company and I can tell so far it is better than before. Last time I left it was because I had an issue with customer service but now they are treating me right. This storage place is in an iffy area so I was already kind of skeptic. The price was right though. The lady I signed papers with (magali?) told me there wouldn't be a price increase for a year and "usually" the price only goes up a couple of dollars. I stored my stuff there for 2 years (because I'm military and move a lot) in those two years I was there the price changed 3 times. I was paying 94$ a month when I was first there and I just moved out recently. I was paying 145$ when I left. I had a 10x10, and I thought that jump on price was ridiculous. Just know ahead of time they have specific times when they adjust prices. It's not exactly a year after you move in. The workers there are pretty nice, they try to help as much as they can. I think they had a change in staff recently; they're nice. Nothing was ever broken into (my stuff) I felt safe going there at night, and liked the improvements they were doing to the locks. read more
