The Absolute WORST ! ! !…read more The owner is a conman. It's the ONLY thing at which he excels. Not one of his assurances or promises were fulfilled. A man came to observe and list everything that was SUPPOSED to be included in the move. He was SUPPOSED to be the leader, but, he failed to lead. No one was responsible leader material. The capability of the team was insufficient in every way. They stretched a one day move into two; because they were deliberately slow. They intentionally badly, under-loaded the second truck, because they decided not to deal with the heaviest necessary items. It was too late when we discovered that. They intentionally left over ten of the heaviest exterior pots, fountains, and a tall iron bell, which were itemized as included; and charged us more instead of fairly compensating us for leaving so much behind, which easily could have fit on the less than half full truck. They attempted to HIDE an important piece of a very expensive antique armoire; which their blatant carelessness caused to BREAK. Then, they tried to hold it hostage and bribe us with an appallingly insufficient amount towards repair, but ONLY IF we signed a ridiculous gag agreement, to prevent us from writing an honest review. We rejected their insulting nothing offer, of course. They tried to HIDE the fact that our relatively new, large flat screen television had been broken; which the youngest & honest one revealed that they had known about since the first day. Replacement value is about $2500. They offered us $400; again, providing we would not write this honest review. Another bribe. They did not have muscle enough to do the job, so they simply did not do the whole job. And, a large stone slab on a piece of furniture was also BROKEN, for which they would not accept responsibility. We had to pay an additional $1900 to have the items they left behind moved. This company owes us almost as much as we overpaid them. We were bullied into paying that night, hoping their promises to file a proper claim would be done. They flat out lied and refused to compensate us justly. Every detail was written and emailed. They did not acknowledge anything we carefully documented. They rudely ignored every honest word, knowing full well that every word of our report was true. We are contesting the deliberately inflated and unearned amount we were over-charged. Do not use them. I called them 4 times to make sure they could move a 1600 sq ft home, they said…read morethey could move up to 2100 sq ft. with no problem. I also rented a trailer to take the lawn mover, power washer, plants, and food, and all the hanging clothes and they still ran out of room. They sent out a van to finish and was told they were going to charge double to unload, I called the supervise and asked how to cut this cost and he said we could help unload, I had a couple of friends to help, it took us 2 1/2 hrs but then was told it was a 3 hr minimum and was charged an extra $800 for their mistake. I had all the boxes labeled to what room and they put them where ever they found a spot to drop them off. I have a sleep # bed (and I asked them before the move to make sure they could move this and set it up at the new house) It does not work and had to have the sleep # come out to reinstall it which cost $250. They did replace the TV with an off Brand. They damage my wife bureau and Spencer himself. gave us his word, he would replace it. That was a week ago. Called and left a message, NO return call.
