Words cannot express how grateful I am for Carpenters Camper's! I am a first time RV owner and I…read morewas fearful of walking onto a Dealership lot and feeing pressured or having a pushy salesperson... Tori was extremely helpful and patient with all of my newbie questions. She took the time to educate me and provided guidance based on her personal experience. I felt comfortable and confident in making my purchase decision at Carpenter's because they really do treat you like family. After Tori helped me decide which RV best met all my needs, then David took over to explain financing and payment options. He was fair during negotiations and explained everything clearly. An independent local transport Professional- Chris C. (850) 206-6204 delivered my new RV, helped me with leveling/ setup, and even recommended equipment for hookup, hoses, wheel chocks, etc.. Chris went out of his way to make sure I was 100% ready to go before he left. If you are in the market for a new RV/ Camper, I highly recommend Carpenter's and contacting Chris C. after your purchase. 12/10 would recommend and send my family and friends to do business here! A huge thank you for all of your help, support, and guidance!!!

AVOID. SCAMMERS. DAMAGED MY VEHICLE…read more Tech caused damage to my vehicle that forced me to sell it. Never had issues prior to having added work done at Carperter's Campers. Work was extremely overpriced and unprofessional with tape that was drooping on my heat shielding on my exhaust pipe at pick up and hanging wires I had to secure myself. Within a couple of days of picking it up, I had various electrical lights flashing I had never seen before. I called Carpenter's who offered to install MORE issues for more money. I brought it to the dealership who offered extremely pricey diagnostics and repairs worth more than what the vehicle was worth that would have just "undone Carpenter's damage". Contacted Carpenter's Campers management on this issue, they stone walled me and would not compromise for their damages without proof from dealership. All this with less than a week before my move across the country. I tried to contact a lawyer on short notice but ended up selling my previously perfectly drivable vehicle, with overpriced, DAMAGING work from Carpenter's Campers because I had to move, and I could not move this car safely cross country. Do not trust this dealership. They will damage your property with no shame.

We have a 2003 Class C Fleetwood Jamboree and were towing a CRV. We were hooking up the tow and had major problems with the connection. We went inside to the service department and Caroline met up to assist us. At first we thought it was the 7 to 5 connector but after further discussion were unsure. She offered to come outside and test the power coming from the rig. Long story short it was decided to take the rig back and do a diagnostic test to confirm exactly what was going on. Big shout out to all the folks that helped: Brian, Shannon, Wes, Dave, Ron, Caroline, and the awesome service tech's who completed the work Scott and Todd - you guys ROCK!!!!! The issue was resolved and repaired in record time!! Pricing was VERY reasonable and these 2 retired Army Vets want to say THANK You! WE appreciated the customer oriented attitudes, technical expertise, promptness of service and understanding of expediting the work so we could get on the road to head back home. You guys are the reason Robertsdale CW is awesome. We really have written off going to any other CW for service because of past terrible issues with the CW in our area. Thanks again! Kevin&Verena

I've purchased a few items for my Travel Trailer from Camping World at a different location, but…read morethis is the first time I've needed them for service. Mariah is a goddess! My travel trailer lost a wheel on I-65 about 3 miles from the Hwy. 59 exit. After sitting along the interstate for 4 hours, and several attempts to find a towing service we were finally able to get it towed to the Camping World in Robertsdale AL by 6:00 pm on a Monday. Tuesday morning we went in to see if they would be able to fix it and how long it would take. That's when we met Mariah! She took a few notes, inspected the damage and immediately got 2 service technicians out to look at it as well. Mariah said to give her time to call around to see if they could get parts, and she would stay in touch. I got several calls with updates through the morning and by early afternoon she called with an estimate for cost and timing. By 3:00 the trailer was repaired and we were back in the road to our destination. We anticipated it would take several days and drain our budget. Mariah got us back on the road in 6 hours (from when they opened on Tuesday morning.) and the cost was reasonable as well. She deserves a raise!

Here's a tightened, scathing version you can post: (I would give zero stars if possible.) I experienced a textbook bait-and-switch during my purchase, and I brought a friend specifically to witness the signing because something felt off. In the finance office, I was explicitly told that an extended warranty was required for my lender to approve the loan. It was framed as a benefit--"only about $20/month"--without proper disclosure that this was on a 10-year loan. On a $14,700 camper with a $5,000 down payment, I should have financed well under $10,000. Instead, I was sold nearly $5,800 in warranties, separate from GAP coverage (which I actually wanted). That alone should have been a red flag. After taking delivery, I never received a bill from the lender. I had to call Camping World myself--on the day I was leaving for a trip--to find out the original loan had "fallen through." I was pressured to immediately sign new financing documents via email, with the clear implication that failure to do so could require returning the camper. Under extreme time pressure and trusting the dealership to act in good faith, I signed. Only later did I discover additional warranties totaling $2,100 had been added without my consent, which were not present on the original paperwork I signed in person. When I challenged this, I was suddenly told that warranties were "optional," contradicting what I was originally told--and again, I had a witness. I requested refunds for all warranties except GAP. Since September, I have spent four months chasing partial refunds, receiving inconsistent answers, unexplained prorating of warranties I never used, and no clear accounting of what I am still owed. There is absolutely no reasonable justification for a process like this to take months instead of weeks. Communication has been poor, responsibility has been deflected, and resolution has been repeatedly delayed. This purchase was a major personal milestone for me, following serious health challenges and major surgeries. Instead of being treated with basic honesty and professionalism, I was treated like a commission opportunity. Once you drive off the lot, you quickly learn how low you fall on their priority list. I have used the camper only once since purchasing it because the experience left such a sour impression. Please shop elsewhere. If you do choose to work with Camping World, scrutinize every document, never feel rushed, and never assume verbal assurances will be honored. My experience shows exactly what happens when they aren't.
