Palafox Self Storage has both of these and more. The price is the cheapest in the whole town and the manager Monkela truly cares about her facility and takes care of the premisies. I kept my stuff here for 5 months and it remained in tact and in good shape, the storage area was very clean and remained dry. The only thing I would warn against would be the area is a little tight, so make sure you have someone helping you with a large truck. Also these units are not climate controlled, but I did not need anything like that for what I was storing. Last thing is that the online bill pay did not work for me, so I had to go to the storage unit or call the manager on the phone. Luckily she is incredibly receptive, even on her days off and will take payment right over the phone and mail a receipt to you.

So after years of storing worthless stuff I finally cleaned out my storage unit (left unlocked). I cleaned it out first of Nov and procrastinated about calling and closing the account. So five weeks later i finally called to stop paying for an empty unit. But they had already closed the account. They said, "each month we conduct a monthly inspection of units and if they are empty and unlock, we stop billing you" I was completely surprise, thought for sure they would have continued to charge me until i called and closed the account.

At that time I was informed that the customer service quote for extra days (3) at $21.00 was now $34.00 per day. The internet Safe Tow Ins. was $34.00 plus $5.00 Safe Tow which also changed to $54.00. The quoted rental $128.00 which was then changed to $189.00. This is one hell of a way to do business. With a lot of "sorry's" but it's more due to DROP OFF! Not IAW the internet and Customer service (phone). Totally "bait and switch" resulting in over $70.00 charges plus taxes and other fees. I reserved a storage unit that wasn't actually available upon my arrival. This was obviously frustrating and stressful after packing/traveling. Christine and Mike could've easily been justified to blame it on the system, but instead they took ownership of the situation that was out of their control, did a little "Kansas City Shuffle," and made magic happen. The units are very nice and clean. They gave detailed instructions about entering and exiting the property to ensure no one could get past the gate, as they take security seriously as well. All this is to say - this is family run and it shows how much they care about the customers and facility.
