I have a $0.0 balance at this place and get snark? When I mentioned how this was displeasing I received nothing but sarcasm: "okay buddy". I set up auto pay and have been on time every month My last payment was $113, but has since gone up to $130. When I moved here my dad was dying of small cell lung carcinoma and has since passed so being very traumatic and chaotic of a year i forgot to update my phone and email with storage king which I will admit was my bad. Apparently last month when they went to run the card it said it was lost or stolen according to them (it wasn't and in fact they managed to charge the same lost/stolen card today on May 1st). They said they had tried to contact me several times, but i no longer have that phone or email. Fast forward today I have been charge for $327 for two months of storage. I called storage king, talked to some very nasty woman who was zero help and connected me with Jeff the manager who has ZERO empathy for his clients and when I explained the situation basically just told me too bad so sad, he can't reverse the late fees as they had tried contacting me. Not one ounce of understanding and as a business owner myself I find this incredibly disappointing. This company is shady, Jeff is a crook and once you have your stuff moved in they will continue to up the price for no real reason other then they know most people won't go through the hassle of moving. AVOID. SCAMMERS. DAMAGED MY VEHICLE…read more Tech caused damage to my vehicle that forced me to sell it. Never had issues prior to having added work done at Carperter's Campers. Work was extremely overpriced and unprofessional with tape that was drooping on my heat shielding on my exhaust pipe at pick up and hanging wires I had to secure myself. Within a couple of days of picking it up, I had various electrical lights flashing I had never seen before. I called Carpenter's who offered to install MORE issues for more money. I brought it to the dealership who offered extremely pricey diagnostics and repairs worth more than what the vehicle was worth that would have just "undone Carpenter's damage". Contacted Carpenter's Campers management on this issue, they stone walled me and would not compromise for their damages without proof from dealership. All this with less than a week before my move across the country. I tried to contact a lawyer on short notice but ended up selling my previously perfectly drivable vehicle, with overpriced, DAMAGING work from Carpenter's Campers because I had to move, and I could not move this car safely cross country. Do not trust this dealership. They will damage your property with no shame.
