No one got back to me after that as they promised someone would except when I threatened to contact my credit card company and get the charge reversed but even then I was given a lame excuse and another promise that district manager would call me back after the weekend to do the refund. I waited til the close of business Tuesday but heard nothing so I reported it to my credit card and they thankfully refund the amount immediately. Now I'm just hoping that the place doesn't try to charge me again next month Or I'll have to report them for fraudulent activity because I have told 3-4 people on the phone/via email that I intended to cancel this storage unit!!!

Recently the unit was broken into and expensive boat electronics and many tools were taken. The security system had been non functional for over a month allowing thieves to easily steal our belongings. The facility had previous theft on exterior units yet ignored the security breakdown. Many attempts were made to recover our items or funds to replace them. Storage King refuses to make this right. I am stuck here without parts or funds for my home/boat. I moved here Feb 1st 2025 and I…read morehave been using storage king in Milton since then and in the last year I have had two $20 a month price increases. That alone is super shady and crooked in my opinion, but what I am most upset about is what happened today and how Jeff handled it(he's not a nice guy). I set up auto pay and have been on time every month My last payment was $113, but has since gone up to $130. When I moved here my dad was dying of small cell lung carcinoma and has since passed so being very traumatic and chaotic of a year i forgot to update my phone and email with storage king which I will admit was my bad. Apparently last month when they went to run the card it said it was lost or stolen according to them (it wasn't and in fact they managed to charge the same lost/stolen card today on May 1st). They said they had tried to contact me several times, but i no longer have that phone or email. Fast forward today I have been charge for $327 for two months of storage. I called storage king, talked to some very nasty woman who was zero help and connected me with Jeff the manager who has ZERO empathy for his clients and when I explained the situation basically just told me too bad so sad, he can't reverse the late fees as they had tried contacting me. Not one ounce of understanding and as a business owner myself I find this incredibly disappointing. This company is shady, Jeff is a crook and once you have your stuff moved in they will continue to up the price for no real reason other then they know most people won't go through the hassle of moving. I have never been so disgusted with a company in my life. Ya'll should seriously be ashamed of yourselves. 100/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
