I specifically sent them a list of what was priority to move a few days before. The guys showed up on time. They looked over the items, rooms, and truck then they got to work. The guys finished in the promised amount of time, packaged and wrapped things really well. We even did some prep work by wrapping and placing things in the living room. Next thing we know, they have already wrapped and loaded the washer and dryer very quietly and quickly. We were shocked. Would highly recommend using them! Quality and efficient is important and they take it seriously. Worth every penny.

We love that they only charge from when they start moving our stuff to finish moving our stuff. And there are no hidden fees or surprise costs. The staff was very responsive and communicative and clear while getting us set up. And our movers, Willie and Odera, were super efficient and fast and very careful with all of our belongings. Not to mention very kind and respectful! We live on the second story and don't have an elevator, and it was no problem. Can't recommend this company highly enough. **MOVERS BEWARE** Scheduled American Master Movers for a…read moresimple move (apartment items to storage / leather sofa & love seat set to separate residence). Two men showed up on time and promptly began moving. When I made my reservation, I was told all the "services" that were included, with one being that all furniture would be wrapped in blankets for the move. I noticed right away that all furniture was only being wrapped in stretch wrap, not blankets as discussed. I asked why no blankets were being used, they informed me that since I did not elect to purchase the blankets that none would be used. They reassured me that the plastic they were using would be enough protection and I took their word and had them carry on with the loading. Their loading & stacking seemed aggressive (to the point it made me question how well I packed my boxes), but I attributed that to the fact I was being charged hourly and they wanted to move as fast as possible. Once we were complete with loading, they made the short drive to the storage unit. While unloading at the storage unit my headboard (which was not wrapped in a blanket OR plastic) fell in the truck. I was immediately notified and told that American Master Movers would have a "wood technician" come repair the damage in 6+ weeks as this guy is "in high demand". The damage sustained to this piece of furniture is not repairable (see photos) and I asked for the article to be replaced. The lead guy of the move talked with his manager and agreed the item would be replaced. They carried on with the move until all items were in the storage unit. Part of my move included having a power reclining leather sofa & loveseat set taken to a residence instead of in storage. This was no problem for the guys, so they continued to the second drop off location. They were quick with bringing in the loveseat, and after about 30 minutes of waiting for the sofa to come in, I went to the truck to see if they needed any help. They said they were "completing paperwork" but were both looking underneath my sofa which seemed odd. A few minutes later they came in with the sofa and seemed very rushed to leave. We processed the payment, and they were off in a flash. Approximately 2 hours after they leave, I decide to check the sofa & loveseat to confirm the power mechanisms are all correct & functioning. I find the power recline function on the sofa is not working and being to investigate. I check outlets and begin to trace the cords and that is when I found that they ripped the power cords and tried to cover it up and "fix" it with brown packing tape. I immediately called American Master Movers and tried every extension and was sent to voicemail. I left a detailed voicemail explaining the issues that would need resolution (headboard & sofa) but did not get a response back. The next day I sent an email to Cameron at American Master Movers and received a response from "John Hudson" identifying himself as the Assistant Operations Manager, saying that Cameron (who is the General Operations Manager) "is out of the office until further notice" but promised the items I needed resolution on would be resolved. I provided all items he requested (original receipt of the headboard, and my availability to have an electrician come repair the couch). After my prompt response I have not heard anything back from American Master Movers. It has been 45 days since my move, and I have sent 6 follow up emails and left over a dozen voicemails with no response. I am at the point where I must dispute the charges with my credit card due the lack of responsibility taken by American Master Movers.

Filed a complaint with the BBB - and they did not respond to that complaint. Filed a complaint with the PUC and these guys DO NOT HAVE A PERMIT with the PUC (which they are supposed to) - and they were issued a warning. In addition, there is no record that the moving company even has insurance! DO NOT USE AMERICAN MASTER MOVERS. But if you do, demand you see their proper permitting and insurance to operate a moving company!!

They also used less materials which brought the quote down by a few hundred bucks so that was awesome. They even helped me move a heavy item I already had in my garage up to my main floor off the clock! They also purposefully left out an item that I previously broke and forgot to pack myself so that it did not get lost in the move. I love all of the work they are doing for their nonprofit and was happy to hear that my money will be going back into that. They just did my move today so I haven't unpacked yet, but I haven't noticed any damages so far to the furniture. The reviews really do speak for themselves and they will have a customer for life.

I had a multi-phased move which caused me to move everything into storage for a couple of weeks and since the my initial moving service was unavailable on the date I was going to move out of storage I contracted with Denver Local Movers. This was only the beginning of my challenges. I learned two days prior to my move date that my lender was unprepared to close and had to reschedule. Our lender delayed our closing one full week, each day promising 'tomorrow,' and I had to call and reschedule my move date 6 times. I was embarrassed, stressed and scared. Denver Local Movers handled my frantic calls with extreme patience and kindness. On moving day, my move team of Jeremiah, Nick & Silencio called in advance, arrived when they said they would and worked non-stop in extreme heat. Jeremiah, Nick & Silencio were extremely polite and professional. They took extra care with fragile items, they safely secured everything in the truck, and they patiently took my stuff to the rooms that I requested. When we reached out to Andres only 4 days before the day we hoped to make the local move (left voicemail) he responded quickly and suggested we move to texting. Thereafter, the conversation was easy, cordial, and very responsive. After our describing what needed to be moved he came back with an estimate of the hours (4-6) and number of men (3) in the crew he thought would be most efficient for our situation. They showed up on time and moved through the apartment with care and efficiency. Andres, Emmanuel , and Sebastian were all polite and friendly. Best moving experience we've had, which has included 2 cross-country moves by large companies during which we'd had to deal with little and very vague communication through agents who I don't think had anything other than their own best interests in mind. When you can talk to the owner you get a clear impression of the service you're going to receive. In the end the move took 3 men 3-1/2 hours. Unloading into the new home was done carefully.
