We are renting a condo nearby and running out of storage space now that we have a little one. We were in need of some extra space (no pun) to put some of our baby stuff and other stuff that does not fit anymore. As this is the 2nd closest place, and half the price of the closest (Bobs), I opted to give it a shot. They are located just off of the 417, which is very convenient. They are also open from 6am-10pm daily for access, which is helpful. I took advantage of the first month free (everyone offers this) on a small, 5x6 space. Aside from the surprise insurance that was sprung on me, I was pretty happy. This was a bummer as it added 25% to the cost of the unit. This would have been better if disclosed earlier. It was not enough for me not to rent, so I stuck with it. The unit itself is not climate controlled, and literally hotter than the inner layers of hell. DO NOT use non climate controlled if you are planning on putting anything that can be damaged in excessive heat. It does not seem like moisture or humidity is an issue inside, but I am not taking a chance. Overall, I am satisfied as a new customer. The service was great and above and beyond. I would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to store your stuff. read more

I received excellent service from Ray and Cindy. Ray gave me a tour of the facility and the units. I reserved the 2nd floor climate-controlled unit 10x10, advantage of 2nd floor units which have higher ceiling and that made the storage unit larger than the traditional 10x10x8. Extra Space Storage facility is very clean and shows well maintained. Definitely will recommended this location to others. read more

Do NOT store here!! They get you into a unit and then start jacking prices up on you. They know that people don't want to rent a truck and move all their items in storage. It's a switch and bait!! My unit cost $186.90 last Sept. Jan the increased my rate to $208.91 and I just got a notice that next month my bill will increase AGAIN!! This time to $237.60!! An increase of $50.70 in 1 year!! That's $600 extra a year!! Ridiculous!! read more

While this facility seems to have one of the cheaper rental facilities in town, it does not stay that way. Throughout our year stay our monthly fee continued to grow. I was never given notice, and when speaking to management they explained there was no way an email could be used for this notification. My email could be used for receipts, and of course they keep a card on file, but any technology is impossible to use when communicating with the customer about a fee increase? If you have anything that will be stored long term, I would suggest climate control. I can only hope that they are better with rodent control in those units. Finding dead rodents and feces in my unit meant it was time to move on. I had used storage facility previously and wasn't able to go back due to lack of availability, so Extra Storage was chosen. I have now relocated all of my things to the previous facility which provides much better rates, and locks you in at the price for a year. Unfortunately,I didn't have too much to move with rodent damage. read more

It's was great when we moved our things in, but $30 increases TWICE in 14 months have soured our experience. Both times we received no notification and when we called to discuss, Ray the manager seemed completely indifferent to having our business telling my wife "you won't find it cheaper anywhere else." We most certainly did...Uncle Bob's on OBT. Move out day was exciting too, all the mouse poop and roaches you could ever want! read more
