I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

We placed bubble wrap around the clock, weights and pendulum to transport to their location. We purchased the shipping label through eBay, my husband explained this to the gentleman. We needed it safely packed and shipped. He assured us that they could safely do so. Our customer contacted us to let us know his clock was severely damaged. We contacted Tennessee Valley Packaging and took the photos to them to show them the damage. Their response was, it looks like it was dropped. They did not package the item, they simply made a box and placed it in it without packaging or securing the weights properly. They gave no refund, no apology, took no responsibility whatsoever. Please be very careful if using this company to package or ship anything fragile.

And... since last October, every month there seems to be a problem with the company getting paid. I use on-line bill pay. For over a year, every day of the month, the same day, a check is sent from the bank. AUTOMATICALLY. No problems. All of a sudden, they don't get checks on time and they want late fees. EVERY MONTH!! I had to pay in person (so I could get into my unit), stopped payment on the check I already sent, and then a month later they tried to cash the check I stopped payment on and charged me some other fee cause I stopped payment on the check they presented for payment. So, I set up automatic withdrawal (yes, routing #, account #, etc) so they can go into one of my accounts and take monthly payments out. Well...guess what? Plenty of $$ for their payment, but I get an e-mail telling me my payment is late!! And yes...another late fee!! What is wrong with this picture??? And not 10 miles away same size unit $80.00/month. Seems like all they want is your money and they are very creative in finding ways to get it!!

The Birmingham branch is not a moving branch, they pull from the Montgomery, team. This means your move won't start until almost lunch time. Also, the furniture wrapping and care was less than Ideal. much of our nice wood furniture has damage to the corners. they did not bother with removing shelves in bookshelves, so we are missing pegs that fell out during the move. Also, our corner desks had customized hardware to put together, and that hardware is gone in the wind now. We were told that the entry ways and what not would be protected so the movers did not accidentally damage doors and frames, but that did not happen. They stacked too many boxes on each other, crushing the lowest boxes, and some of their contents. It began to sprinkle during unload at the new home location, and there were cardboard boxes being removed from the truck, and set on the driveway, and left there for 10-20 minutes while they moved other boxes. You would think you would only grab out the boxes you plan to take directly inside so they don't get soaked, but we have some personal items that have been damaged by sitting in the wet boxes, in the rain, for several minutes at a time. One of the movers did not have a good attitude, the other one was nice enough, but it was hard to understand what he was saying. Overall, we would not hire Pink Zebra again around the Birmingham, AL area. Maybe other locations have been luck being in a town with an actual moving team and not just the franchise office location.

I called their number 844-238-8715 and guess what nobody answers in the mailbox is full. Again, avoid this business like the plague they don't care about you or your property and give you false promises. And if you didn't forget, see the ketchup stains, one mover, intentionally squirted ketchup all over my furniture in my bedroom as there's no other way to explain it. Update: I called again today 10/1/25. Line just rings and puts you on hold as nobody answers as usual. All my sons has my contact information and can call me at any time to try to get this resolved however they refuse. This is not good customer service and the lack of concern is ridiculous given my situation. My items were damaged some intentionally as you can see in the pictures showing the condiments spilled all over my master bedroom on the second floor of my new home.
