The dents on the fridge clearly match the heads of the bungee cords, yet the mover tried to blame a U-Haul hand truck. The damage speaks for itself. Despite the truck advertising "licensed and insured," the company has stopped responding to calls and messages. No follow-up, no accountability, no claim filed. If you damage a customer's property, own it and make it right. That's the bare minimum. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. If you value your belongings and peace of mind, look elsewhere.

We feel that this was unethical and borderline scammy. We have tried to reach out to their "claims manager" Tyler Prebula but he has consistently dodged our emails and calls and has not gotten an answer back to us so I am forced to take action and write this review. 2) Relatively unprofessional service considering the amount of $$ paid. Next time I'd just hire a few of my friends or guys off U-Haul for a lot cheaper and same service. 3) I spend about 30 minutes on the phone with Claire Davidson going through every single room/item in the house. If they actually had quoted me what they demanded upon end of service I would have EASILY gone with a different mover. We felt this to be an injustice. 4) Dent in fridge. Broken/shattered glass that was left until the next day and WE had to clean it up. Gouge in wall that we had to rush to patch. Not very professional for a moving service that takes themselves seriously. The movers didn't move with any urgency and were never clear in their communication. Next time I'm going to be very involved with movers telling them exactly what to take because these guys seemed lost but I thought that's what we're paying them for? I didn't know they needed me to be super involved. It's been 6 business days and we have not received ANYTHING from this company to help with all of this misfortune. They still have a chance to redeem themselves and make it right but right now we are feeling like there has been a serious injustice which is a shame because of all their great google reviews. On the two men quote it had "Kemper Moving Systems LLC". They also charged us for boxes/items we never even used. Please make it right! I wish I could remember the names of the 3 men who did the move. They were polite, professional, on time and attentive to all of our request. They would double check on what needed to be moved and to where if I had not been clear on the instruction sheet. Otherwise, they followed it without any input allowing us to do other things while they worked. They have to be the #1 team of the company!! We had a very heavy piece of furniture to move downstairs. The team sized up the task, determined a plan and got it downstairs and in place. The great thing is there are no scuffs on the furniture, walls, floors or the trim work. We requested the first appointment (9AM) that required a 3-hour minimum. We had about 45 minutes left on the time and all 3 of them ask my wife and I if we needed anything else moved. They were so persistent that we had them move several small things we had planned on moving. They still finished early and ask again if they needed to move anything else.

Packing supplies right there to buy and toss into the van. The Ford van was brand new and spotless with 155 miles on it. Rubber flooring in the van kept my cargo still. Sat tall in the saddle and driving visibility was good. Back up camera was nice to have. I think the back was ten feet long so I had lots of space to work with. Rented for 24 hours w/all the insurance (just wanted peace of mind). Still south of fifty bucks, including the miles driven around town. Easy after hours check in with link provided from a text on my phone which guided me through taking photos and listing van info. I'm 64 years old and have moved a lot of stuff around the country through the years using about everyone. U-Haul has stepped up it's game. Nice.
