The bugs and snakes are gross. But it's by an area that has wildlife. The roads between the units is HORRIBLE! We were not warned and you can't tell by standing in the front looking down. It tore the bottom of our car. They moved us to another until but the road should be fixed. It's not safe. They themselves are super nice people. The one guys knows nothing about the office. I happened to be there on that day. The lady is very knowledgeable and fixed all the stuff that was wrong. Just know the other stuff and be prepared.

WARNING WARNING…read more WARNING I would give Freedom Storage zero stars if I could. My experience here was beyond unacceptable. My storage units -- along with numerous others -- were broken into, and somehow this all happened during the exact period when the cameras "failed." Convenient doesn't even begin to describe it. What makes this even more suspicious is that my units were not located together. Whoever did this knew exactly where to go. They would have needed to know the layout, the unit numbers, and the routes through the facility to avoid detection. This wasn't random. We're told this is a secure facility, but when I went to check on my units, I was able to access them during the time the cameras were supposedly down -- even though the magnetic lock system is supposed to prevent doors from opening when surveillance is offline. So not only did the cameras fail, but the backup security measures failed too. Let's recap: * Cameras were down * No backup footage available * Gate security didn't prevent anything * Magnetic locks didn't work as intended * Personal locks were useless (a locksmith even said they can be picked in seconds) At that point, calling this place "secure" is misleading. When everything fails at the same time, and the thefts appear targeted, it raises serious concerns about how this could happen without inside knowledge. To make matters worse, the system did not prorate my rent after the incident, and the property manager has not responded to employee emails regarding this issue in over 72 hours. And to address the likely response -- yes, you probably won't find me as a current tenant. That's because I moved out within 48 hours of discovering the theft. If you value your belongings, I would strongly reconsider storing them here. If that's how they treat the veterans in this Military community I think they should be put on the Black list for this community.

I would not recommend this company to any of my friends!!! Represented as a first responder owned…read morecompany you would figure they would stand behind and honor their service... I used this company for a move and as a result of said move my living room tv was damaged. I contacted their company to place a claim and was sent a letter for intent to file the claim. Since receiving the letter the company representative no longer answers my calls, voicemails, or emails. I've tried following up several times for approximately 2 months since I made the claim with no response. $1400 tv was damaged and I will be seeking legal restitution as this company has refused to honor their service. I would note the moving experience wasn't bad, but if an item is damaged by your movers you should honor your claims for damages!!!

They handled my squat rack and cumbersome executive desk with ease and care. Sam who helped us with the quote was patient with our questions and making sure our quote was accurate. We've moved alot and this is the best team I've had by a country mile. Thank you! EDIT: I previously rated 5 stars because the team truly did such a great job on move day, but I need to drop a few stars. The team moved my squat rack and the J Hooks (which hold the bar up on the rack) have gone missing in the move. I'm sure its a simple misplacement or mistake and honestly its not that big of a deal, I've already ordered replacements. I'm dropping the rating because I've called Hero moving everyday and left messages and no one has returned my calls. It is annoying and frustrating to be ignored after I've completed payment. It was a small simple request and it would have meant a lot if they at least checked but instead I'm annoyed.
