The bugs and snakes are gross. But it's by an area that has wildlife. The roads between the units is HORRIBLE! We were not warned and you can't tell by standing in the front looking down. It tore the bottom of our car. They moved us to another until but the road should be fixed. It's not safe. They themselves are super nice people. The one guys knows nothing about the office. I happened to be there on that day. The lady is very knowledgeable and fixed all the stuff that was wrong. Just know the other stuff and be prepared.

WARNING WARNING…read more WARNING I would give Freedom Storage zero stars if I could. My experience here was beyond unacceptable. My storage units -- along with numerous others -- were broken into, and somehow this all happened during the exact period when the cameras "failed." Convenient doesn't even begin to describe it. What makes this even more suspicious is that my units were not located together. Whoever did this knew exactly where to go. They would have needed to know the layout, the unit numbers, and the routes through the facility to avoid detection. This wasn't random. We're told this is a secure facility, but when I went to check on my units, I was able to access them during the time the cameras were supposedly down -- even though the magnetic lock system is supposed to prevent doors from opening when surveillance is offline. So not only did the cameras fail, but the backup security measures failed too. Let's recap: * Cameras were down * No backup footage available * Gate security didn't prevent anything * Magnetic locks didn't work as intended * Personal locks were useless (a locksmith even said they can be picked in seconds) At that point, calling this place "secure" is misleading. When everything fails at the same time, and the thefts appear targeted, it raises serious concerns about how this could happen without inside knowledge. To make matters worse, the system did not prorate my rent after the incident, and the property manager has not responded to employee emails regarding this issue in over 72 hours. And to address the likely response -- yes, you probably won't find me as a current tenant. That's because I moved out within 48 hours of discovering the theft. If you value your belongings, I would strongly reconsider storing them here. If that's how they treat the veterans in this Military community I think they should be put on the Black list for this community.

I have been renting a storage space here since February 2017, and I can honestly say this is one of…read morethe best boat storage facilities I have ever rented from. What really sets this place apart, however, is the owner and management. Wes is one of the most outstanding and understanding gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of renting from. He does an excellent job keeping tenants informed about anything happening at the facility, including any issues that arise and upgrades or improvements being planned or completed. His communication and dedication to the property are truly appreciated. The facility itself is also excellent, and having a paved boat ramp right next to the storage area makes it even more convenient and appealing. After all these years, I am still extremely happy with my experience here and would highly recommend this boat storage facility to anyone looking for a safe, convenient, and well-managed place to store their boat, kayaks, and other watercraft.

The girl at the pickup counter said she couldn't do or find anything in her system and complained the whole time even after I gave her the transaction number. Well this is just bad customer service for a business that doesn't have anyone waiting to be helped. I gave her my receipt number and she said it didn't show paid for and she didn't have a way of looking it up. This is the only reason I gave them 3 stars only because she really didn't even try to help. She complained the whole time to everyone that she had phone problems. She called in someone else who quickly found it and we waited another 15 minutes before it was brought out. Otherwise I believe you could get any part needed here and would give them another chance despite the lack of service from this one employee. Very nice business.
