Now for the bad. They ruined my sofa, I thought they put furniture on top of padding so it doesn't get grease on the fabric? Black grease on the side of the sofa. Second thing, they were suppose to bring a 3 man team and ended up with 2. More time it takes, more money. At the end, at bill paying time they took off $25 for the third person not showing! Thirdly, they sure chat up with my hubby. Hmmm, more time, more money. The time sure stretched out. Finally, that I know of right now, they put boxes wherever! I clearly had each box marked as to which room it goes. They would also ask me, I finally started saying "what's the box say?" Moving is stressful as it is, I would know, I've done it every two years most of my life (military). This was pretty stressful. I also tipped generously because I know moving "stuff" is not easy. When I move again, because I get restless in one place, I may have to find a different moving company.

Although the guys were super nice and friendly they weren't too knowledgeable when it came to putting my things back together. Adjustable bed they moved is now lifting up on side so it's no longer stable, dining room table wasn't fully secured with the screws but they did an amazing job moving my furniture from the old house upstairs to down without messing up the walls too much. I ended up paying $930 for a 5 hour move spanning about 7 miles apart from one another. Needless to say I'm disappointed. We had 3 bedrooms and a full living room set, a dining room table and a grill. Beware of current pricing as the prices increased significantly per hour from my original quote from the owner. I wouldn't write them off but I would definitely be more aware of what I'm getting myself into the next time around. I paid almost the same amount for an out of state move. It would not let me register the odometer mileage. They were already closed for the day. I ended up paying right at $100.00. Check prices at other places like Lowe's for rentals first. The rear door remains broken. Basically anyone with a bolt cutter could go in there and take anything they wanted. A few times I asked when the repairs would be performed and they said they would be fixed next week. First and foremost, let me mention the communication was fast and reliable when we were setting up…read moreour move. Our move was a long distance move from Jacksonville FL, to Melbourne FL. and when asked, they had no problem with the long distance move. Secondly, when the day came to move, they were prompt and again, communicated their arrival time and were there actually a few minutes earlier. They started immediately after walking thru the entire home to lay out their plans and how they wanted to load the truck. Every box I packed was taped and labeled to the area that the box will go to in our condo in Melbourne, and they had no problem making sure each box brought in was in the location I needed it to be. If I needed to change the location, they were courteous and obliged. They work very diligently and each fragile marked item was handled with care, nothing broke during the move! They set up our beds for Master and Guest rooms and made sure I was satisfied with the location. Thirdly...the condo we were moving into had two flights of stairs, one on the exterior and one that went up to the living room. Not once did they cringe when they saw the steps, but again, rapidly expedited every box and piece and never complained at all! On Feb 3rd, 2026 I hired two men and a truck. I had actually hired them previously but the closing…read moreon my new place was delayed. I was told that the hourly rate would be more then originally quoted but have never received my bill to know just exactly how much I was charged per hour. I had more furniture then originally anticipated and I accept that as a failure on my part. These men wrapped almost every item of furniture yet still managed to break stuff. One guy picked up my tool chest, after I stated that it was heavy, didn't wrap it just walked away. This item was badly broken upon inspection at the end of the move; I can only guess from being dropped. I did also have a small shoe shelf that a piece was missing from; with it being a plastic part I was unable to repair it. I've found many chips and broken parts in my stuff since, none that really effect functionality one such item is an antique custom built cabinet that is irreplaceable. These men, one in particular tried to push their way into doorways, causing damage to the corners and even took out a big piece of paint on my kitchen cuboard and a chunk from my counters; I hadn't even complained about that. I did however complain about the supervisor that showed up and took up the one guy that knew the mosts time for about 1/2 hour; I was fully charged for this time and quite frankly I want that money back! They never responded to my first correspondence and then tried to tell me to keep the toolbox for them to come and asses, but didn't send that email for over 2 weeks so it was long gone. Their sheer lack of accountability and excesive charges is why I filed a BBB complaint. Theyoffered a refund of 37.00 will cover my broken items and told me that I should have purchased additional insurance, EXCUSE ME!! I 've only asked that 1/2 hour credited back and reimbursment for the toolchest that I've had to purchase. I've filed a complaint, but that has gotten no where as they've not acknowledged it.

After going up to the UPS store, I was informed that there is nothing that they can do about this package and that it will just arrive whenever it does. I was not able to get a refund or any real resolution to this problem, which this store is at fault for. In addition, the assistant manager promised a call back with more information, but I have yet to have a call back. She has my tracking number, phone number, and everything needed, so it is no excuse. Please give me the contact information to speak with corporate about this experience. It has now almost been a month and my package is nowhere to be found.

Instead they continue to push back. I will not be using this facility again EVER. More of my time and their time greater than the amount in question has been spent, just so that they can have the last word. I've started using Extra Space. Unfortunately, there are some things you just can't get rid of, so you can drop off your baggage here and walk away. Atlantic Storage can't make that thing that you did that you wish you'd never done go away (of course I mean all those coats that you HAD to have), but they can take them out of site and out of mind until you can rejustify why you bought them in the first place. There are attendants on-site until 7pm daily, but the major advantage over other options in the area is that you can access your unit 24/7 with a pin code. Atlantic Storage is a little on the pricey side, but all units are interior, air tight and air conditioned which is a must in Florida whether you're storing skeletons, winter clothes or both.
