I had…read morejust paid for my storage unit for the month and my partners and I were reorganizing it and the dumpster was locked, so we left our garbage nicely outside the dumpster for whoever opened the dumpster next and took care of it - like they always do. I just received a call from a woman bashing me, making fun of me and yelling at me for leaving garbage next to a dumpster that was locked right by the gate at the storage unit. She told me she had overlooked my unit and to come "pick up my shit" in the next half an hour or my storage unit would be taken from me. There are no signs and I was never told that the dumpster AT the storage unit I paid for was of use for me?? Because why wouldn't it? And the way I was spoken to by this woman was appalling and incredibly unprofessional. Do NOT rent from this place unless you're ready to file a police report over stolen goods and want to be talked to like you're nothing. Moving storage units ASAP. Note: They say they "pride themselves on great customer service and a clean environment". Their customer service does not exist - and if it does, it's basically impossible to find and contact - and there has not been one instance that I have gone into my unit and garbage, bugs, leaves and dirt were not littering the hallway.

Not only is this property kept spotless, this week when I went to put a few more things in my unit, I came upon Liz and her staff scrubbing the outsides of all of the locker doors. Otherwise, I would've given it 5/5 if it weren't for the huge price jump in such a short time with plenty of available units left. Has me considering leaving the company as a whole after using them for 6yrs across 2 different moves. The entrance to the units is only about 1.5" so using a hand truck isn't a problem. The area where the units are is flat and well paved. This facility has a hill and curve as the entrance to get to the lot and the spacing of the units limits access by a large moving truck. The hill at the gate and at the road enterance are also troublesome to navigate with a large moving truck. During the winter the snow is plowed up against the unit doors, bring your own snow shovel for access!

Felt like I was in the twilight zone as you just don't get this kind of service and expertise with a friendly disposition anywhere anymore it seems. And they were all like this as I observed they were all going out of their way with the customers they were assisting. We broke down on our way to NY a couple days ago, and had arranged for a truck at this location on our way. Had to totally change up reservation and timing, leave our car at the location, get to NY to do a pick up and then back to Scranton where these guys got us set up to tow my car back home behind the UHaul. These guys and gals are dialed in and actually want to help you and they do. Total difference at my drop off spot, place empty, kid up some stairs on the phone while playing video games and me yelling up the stairwell. Still didn't hear me so I had to go through 5 minutes of prompts on the phone before I got their line ringing. He bounds down the stairs, notices me there and say "oh, hey...." Hat's off to the Scranton U-Haul crew, true professionals, and made a difficult trip way, way easier. God bless your crew!

The three…read moregentlemen who moved me were polite, punctual, organized, careful, efficient, and highly organized -- need I go on? The first move was two years ago when I moved from Honesdale to New York City. And the second time was a few months ago when I moved out of my New York City apartment to New Jersey, but Minute-Man Movers transported all of my belongings to a storage unit back in Scranton, PA. The team likes to get started early, and when I say early, the earlier the better. I asked Dave, the lead guy at the company, if he could be at my apartment by 6 a.m., and true to his word he was there at the requested time right on the dot. Both times the guys moved me, nothing was out of place, let alone damaged, and the second time around I did a lousy job of packing. But that didn't stop them from taking care of everything. It was a little pricy for me, but that's because of all of the driving the movers had to undertake back and forth, but their service was nothing short of incredible both times, so it was worth every penny. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat, and I always recommend them to all of my friends and family. You can't go wrong with these guys!
