The people who…read morerun the office are great and the place is extremely secure, which is why we chose this location. Last weekend, we had record flooding, which flooded most, if not all the units. We signed up with their insurance when we first started our rental unit. Access Self Storage sent over our information and I filed the furniture we were claiming damaged. Come to find out, their insurance they offer does not cover flooding. We were not told that when we signed up for it. Needless to say, we will be looking for another unit to store our things. I'm sure many other people will too. I'm not risking their drainage system again while I'm paying insurance and they aren't even taking care of their current tenants. It's a waste of my time and my money.

They asked me to pay a $99 booking fee so I did. Yesterday I picked up my keys to the apartment and found the unit to be in a horrible state. With disgusting odor of Indian food. A catastrophe. I immediately reached out to Betos to tell them of the emergency and asked them to please work with me to reschedule for when the unit is properly ready. This is one day before the scheduled move which is supposed to be today. The state of the unit was uninhabitable. I could not in good conscience MOVE my stuff into the unit. The person immediately said I will have to pay another $99 booking fee despite me sharing the details of my situation. I asked them to consider the fact that I'm already dealing with this emergency and cannot afford to pay yet another fee. He said "please understand this is a business" What I understand is the lack of customer service and human decency. Even though I'm experiencing a major emergency situation that is not my fault. They refuse to be helpful and reschedule my move. What a horrible experience. What ever happened to human decency and customer service???

Amber at the front desk has gone above and beyond to help me over the past 2 years. She is friendly and informative, and during a time of financial strain she made sure my belongings were safe from auction. I cannot thank her enough for helping me keep some of my priceless belongings. As far as the facility goes, I was in a climate controlled interior unit. It was difficult to move in and out to my unit as the exterior door has no way of staying open. This may be policy to keep things secure, but it did make propping the door necessary to move efficiently. Some of my belongings experienced slight moisture damage over the 2 years in storage, but it may have been some of the severe storms that occurred during that period. Overall a safe, secure location to store things with an incredible staff. Would recommend!

I spoke to my lawyer and since I did not have auto-pay set up and I did not authorize the charge, this is a possible criminal violation. I will be contacting my bank and the BBB today, then possibly the Dallas Police Department after that. There are also homeless people living up and down the street because there are vacant lots next to the business. I have caught them looking in my car windows and would not recommend any female to go here at night if you are alone.

This is not the case there are too many places in Dallas to choose from and this is not the location.

So, for over an hour, she did NOT even know where her things were!??! They didn't have the decency to tell us where they were going for lunch. We were so relieved when they finally got here and the move went okay, rather fast. They were cheerful and had a good attitude. On top of that, they even charged her for the lunch break. The "lead" guy was okay, but the other one was not so friendly. The lead guy was kind enough to take a queen-sized bed that I no longer needed, though, which really helped. It's my understanding that the movers are contracted and are linked up for each move. Kind of like Uber for moving? They all drive separately and likely have never met before. Luckily the synergy of our group was great. We only had 3 out of the 4 movers show up which was a frustrating start since we were quoted for 4. Found out morning of that one cancelled. We spent quite a bit of time on the phone with customer service to ensure the cost was adjusted. We had to defend our case quite a bit for an appropriate response. Having 3 instead of 4 people does impact time and is an inconvenience. The 3 gentlemen that actually showed up are the reason for the positive review. They worked extra hard to compensate for being one man down and made sure we were taken care of on-time as promised. They worked well together and quickly established a great system. So we truly appreciated all their help! I have nothing but great things to say about them. Personally, I would probably consider the traditional moving model and company if I needed the service again.
