I was having bad reception and couldn't hear him when I picked up so I asked if I was talking to Derry Self Storage and he said, "Yes, sadly we're still open for business." It made me laugh and he gave me the information about the gate times. The place is nice and clean. Yvette won't be that annoying sales person that tries to upsell you in the storage you need or try to get you to buy mattress protectors if you don't want one. The building and units are climate controlled so if you are storing items that you care about it is well worth the money. My unit never had mold or spiders in it. Janice is very customer service focused and a pleasure to deal with. I no longer needed my storage unit so I had moved my items out over the weekend. Janice called me on Monday to tell me that she had noticed my unit was empty. I told her that I would be by to sweep out the unit and fill out paperwork and she said no need to do that. She would take care of everything and that I was all set. How about that for customer service! I highly recommend this business.

Do not recommend at all. We got charged an entire extra month for forgetting the lock on our empty…read moreunit the day after. We addressed it during a call in which we were given absolutely no lee-way the day of, and I followed up with an in-person visit to argue to have it waived, where I was told to shut up for arguing on my behalf to waive a ridiculous charge. Not only that, but we initially got charged with a price hike just one month after having the unit that we had to call and point it out - which, admittedly - they did bring the price back down after we called - but that is incredibly poor business practice, and frankly I'm tired of playing these games with businesses nowadays to prevent being blindsided with charges and fees. 'Company policy' is an insulting and poor reason for completely unreasonable charges. A little effort goes a long way. If you simply have some give and take for your customers you're business will be a lot stronger in the long-run but apparently this business needs to run on technicalities to swindle money from people just trying to get by. I will additionally be posting this on Google reviews for visibility as well. Businesses need to be help accountable for unreasonable and sneaky charges.

All our items were moved undamaged and put exactly where we asked them to be.
