They showed up at our apartment @ 7:12. The driver came in with paperwork and said our total was $800 dollars. We didn't pay. The Christian owner John told them to take our stuff to the yard until we pay. He kept contacting my boyfriend everyday lowering his price. He finally gave in last night and paid him $300 dollars. Our things were dropped off. The thing is that NONE of my things were even picked up from my storage unit. It turns out they stole someone else's belongings from the same facility! They charged us for stealing another person's possessions and held it hostage for payment from us! They didn't even do the job that they were hired to do to begin with!!! I filed a police report on thursday 10/26. The next day I started paperwork with the Az Attorney General's Office, contacted the BBB and called the National Consumer Complaint Data Base. I was told by the lead mover that someone from the company would call within two business days. The next day Nate called because they messed up the billing but he would only discuss payment. He told me the same thing I'd heard before: someone will call within two business days. After a week passed, I called corporate and spoke to Jen, who said the same thing. I then called the franchise office and spoke to Candice Sundstrom who said, yes you guessed it, someone will call within two business days. IT HAS BEEN 8 BUSINESS DAYS (plus weekends) since the damage occurred and this is still unresolved. They are non-responsive now that they have been paid in full. My house is on the market and the damage is highly visible. I suspect they will respond to this review and say it is fake, like they have done to other recent reviews. I have photos and a damage report signed by their employee. I have receipts sent to me by Candice. I have a voice message asking for payment information. This is not fake. Steve Bruner owns this franchise and he should be ashamed of how his employees are running his business. So should his co-owner, Chris Willems. And, their operations manager, Andrew Potter, should be equally concerned about their poor customer service. DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS. They don't care.
